Mike Williams-T- Commanders Apr. 24 - 6:51 pm et

Commanders signed OT Mike Williams to a one-year contract.

The fourth overall pick in the 2002 draft hasn't played in three years. Though he's still just 29-years-old, Williams is a long-shot to contribute next season. The Buffalo News hears he was at 410 pounds during his most recent physical.

I'm glad we passed. That was before I read he checks in over 400 lbs.

And a well paid bust at that.

Tackle may not have been Big Mike's best spot, but I think it was more about "want to" than being unable to.

Not the first time nor the last time that has happened.

It's a Commanders trifecta of Zorn, Williams, and Campbell. Look out NFCE!

He's probably just camp fodder, but he is friends with Derrick Dockery, and they have been working out together, so either the Skins just wanted to make nice with Dockery, or he has been putting in good effort. My guess, is they are just making Dockery happy and saying we gave the guy a shot.

I figured this would happen when I read that BMW was in Northern Virginia, living and working out with Derrick Dockery...

If he's still 400 pounds, he won't be on their 53 man roster... and even if he does get into good shape, how long does that surgically repaired back hold up??

I'd say it was another dumb move by the Skins, but it was probably a vet minimum deal, with none of it guaranteed, so it's a low risk move...

Actually, at 400 pounds plus, he probably has a rather impressive bust... a D cup, easy...

Yeah, I know I've used variations of that joke before... sue me...

410 pounds? Who does he think he is, Aaron Gibson?

He ate Aaron Gibson... took 2 and a half cases of barbeque sauce...

Think about it, have any of you seen Gibson lately?? :D

That guy is a daily running joke here in Buffalo. Might be the biggest bust in Buffalo history.
