ESPN News HD just went live today on DirecTV.

Don't like the new format of ESPNews.

Mybe I'm too used to the old format, but it just seems too busy.

I do like that its in HD, tho. Couldn't understand why all the other chanESPN stations were, but that one wasn't.

I think it's quite an investment in time and money to get a new studio setup to be HD ready, at least according to what I've read.

On a side note, it bugs me that NFL network has an HD ready studio, but al of their studio shows are broadcast in SD. They only show HD games and replays of games.

Not getting enough of Cajuncowboy here at the Zone? Well, I may be coming to your home once a week.

Just come some preliminaries on a project I have been working on for a while to host a televised version of our radio show. Format TBD and such and this is the very early stages but, hopefully this thing gets fired up soon. There are a couple outlets we are looking at including RFD and Gospel Music Channel. GMC was just picked up by Direct TV.

Anyway, hope to be staring back at you soon. I know you are just as thrilled as I am.

Sounds like it is in the works, but with no firm dates set yet. DirecTV appears to have agreed to carry it when it does launch.

Gospel Music Channel. GMC was just picked up by Direct TV.

I just found GMC on DirecTV and LOVE IT!! I noticed the other day that I still have two spike tv channels. One used to be HD. But now both are listed as standard?

That big thing I don't like is their "Breaking News" at the bottom. At first I was like, cool! Then I realized is was just their normal scroll. WTH???
