-If management thinks this team is close due to injuries, they are fooling themselves. Same ole story again this year, have success with the average teams, get blown out by the contenders: Lions, Ravens, Texans and Eagles blew out the Cowboys at home this season. Yes, Ravens allowed us back in late, but game was already decided.

-For the people who don't see WR as a major need, just look at today's game without Lamb. 7 points, yikes. They were running draws on third and long cause they knew they couldn't pass the football with any success. Tolbert can be a #3, but he isn't a starter in this league, was given all the opportunities this year and has come up short.

-Run defense was horrendous today. The whole stadium knew they were going to feed Barkley the ball and yet couldn't stop him.

-Booth and whomever they throw on the other side at corner has been horrendous. Corner depth is a big problem.

-I'm not a believer in Dowdle as a lead back at all. Wanted to see how he would do against a real run defense the last two weeks and he struggled. Might of gotten garbage yards today, but when the game was still competitive they struggled running the football.

-That Mingo trade looks like a complete disaster as he has a chance to not even make the roster this season.

What happened past 2 seasons vs philly? Did we have issues putting up points with just lamb? We put up 6 earlier this year with lamb. This game didn't change anyone's mind. If you think we need a wr Tolbert having 150 yards today wouldn't have changed your mind.

They got blown out twice by Philly this year, where they were competitive last yr against them going 1-1.

To those who thought the run defense had improved you got snuckered. Philly up by three scores and wanting to get Barkley the record were clearly going to pound the rock. Zimmer clearly knew this as did everyone with a triple digit IQ and they still could not stop him. They need to look long and hard at Grant when the time comes.

I will keep on bringing up this stat until the offseason is over, dead last in the red zone on both sides of the football. This is directly on their inability to run and stop the run. Pretty simple if your opponent scored TD's and you kick FG's, you lose!

This team is so poorly coached its hard to evaluate what we have talent wise. Needs all over for sure though.

RB, WR, CB, LB, DT, DE maybe 1 OL. Potentially need a new starting caliber player at each position.

If we get lucky and have a positive coaching change you sometimes get some development from guys already on your roster ie Chargers this year. Outside of that and a solid run in FA and the draft this team isn't competitive next year.

When you have good coaching, you don't need star players at every position. Good coaches are able to hide your weaknesses and play to your strengths!

Mingo is making the roster he is our best blocking wide receiver. Caught a nice out and if noodle arm could throw might have had a touchdown. Was guarded by the Eagles number 1 pick on both routes. You won’t be able to judge anything until Dak plays with these guys. Mingo looks the part let’s see how he develops. I am more concerned with Ferguson. He does not look any better than Schoonmaker. Ferguson has regressed. I would make him play out his contract.

The Cowboys started strong but the turnovers caught them like the first time we played the Eagles.. The Eagles have Cooper’s number. They gave up in the 2nd quarter. Hopefully this gets McCarthy out of here.

We have so many holes. I don’t really know what the Cowboys should do.

You DO realize that he has as many TD's on the year as Lamb with FAR fewer targets, right?

Not only do we need to draft very, very well next year. We have several starters who will miss alot of time next year as well.
Diggs with a bone graft on his knee, Overshon may not make it back at all. Williams may miss alot of time. And so on. And so on.
Corner is a huge worry next year, WR is a blinking light behind Lamb. A lead back is a must.
Shoring up the Dline, knowing we may lose several starters at the end of this season. DT, DE LBer.
If the Jones's stay true to form, we cant cover all the positions we need to.
It's not a promising future right now, not a fun time in ol Cowboy land !

The Cowboys really put themselves behind the 8-ball by not trying to improve this year. They are far behind Philly, Minnesota, GB and Detroit and many other teams are improved since 2023. Things don't look great going into 2025.

For the O line we have to work on Guyton to improve; and try Bass at RG and RIchards at RT
we can afford a year to see if the young guys can get it done
Obviously we need a real RB and Rico is not it
A decent WR in FA would fix that
TE is suddenly weaker looking as Ferguson has regressed. And that concussion has to be worrying. Schoon is not it.

ON defense, what can you say. They were running Barkley to get to 2000 and the entire UNIVERSE knew it.
and we could not stop him. That says it all; and for those MORONS that claimed we had gotten better there, hopefully that shuts them up.
WE must have a REAL NT. Another DE that can stop the run as Lawrence is gone
We must have at least ONE LB and frankly I think TWO as we do not know how much Kendrics has left and Vigil is a backup; add to that Overshown probably is not coming back at full strength IF HE EVER DOES until 2026

At DB we must have another quality CB and we need improvement at safety.

WE need to UPGRADE EIGHT out of 22 positions SIGNIFICANTLY.

Good news. Washington has to try and win to secure the number 6 seed. I think we will get the 12th pick because the Colts play Jacksonville at home and San Francisco plays Arizona. Detroit might tank tonight to get ready for the Vikings. I would think Washington would rather go to Los Angeles than Philly.

Yup, sad part is Dak likely wouldn’t made too much a difference. Just complete night and day between the amount of talent va our roster.

Jerry will feed us lies in the offseason though and blame it on injuries and tell us we like our guys.

They will continue to be fools gold, beat the average teams and get killed by the elite ones. Nobody talks about how bad the east has been that allowed us 12-5 records in that 3 year stretch, 4 guaranteed wins.

Well, that's water under the bridge now coz the Eagles are loaded the Commanders seems to have finally found their QB and still have over $100M in cap space. Look for them to agressive.......can see them going after Higgins and Garrett or Crosby and draft a RB high. Read a couple nuggets Quinn has the city and players on cloud nine regarding the future.

Still not a believer in the Commanders. Like any young QB, give DC's an offseason to find his weaknesses. Let him keep on running and he won't have a long career.

Do you realize a number 2 receiver who has 500 receiving yards over 16 games is among the league worst.

I agree his 2nd year will give us a better read but I do expect them to agressively put more talent around him. Magic Johnson is part owner and I have little doubt this ownership mindset is Super Bowl.
