Still not a believer in the Commanders. Like any young QB, give DC's an offseason to find his weaknesses. Let him keep on running and he won't have a long career.
He’s not an elite passer. He won’t last long running the ball with his frame. Nothing more than another RG3.

If you watch last night, all he did was use his legs and the Falcons just didn't have the right personnel to counter him. Very rare for a running QB that lacks size to hold up, Lamar Jackson probably the only one to do it. Vick tried and became a pocket passer. Allen, Hurts have the body to do it, but they both have had their struggles with injuries as well.

I agree his 2nd year will give us a better read but I do expect them to agressively put more talent around him. Magic Johnson is part owner and I have little doubt this ownership mindset is Super Bowl.
They already spent a ton, if they continue to build through fa, that window closes fast. I have watched them several times this year, their aren't as good as their record states. I fully expect them to go 1 and done in the playoffs.

The defense held the line pretty well in the first half, I was actually surprised. But 3x offensive turnovers and Andrew Booth did then in.

If anything, that game added CB onto our stack of needs. We just need to add talent everywhere.

Who are their big-money free-agent starters? I know Quinn brought in some low-level players but their cap impact is relatively low. Just looked it up.....
Here's the thing.....they are going to the playoffs. With over $100M in cap next year, Quinn and GM will add additional pieces. Remember, unlike Jerry, these guys have some to prove to new ownership or else.

Their roster still isn't great, it's been hidden with a running QB that has taken advantage of a weak schedule.

Always surprise teams every year, many are just 1 yr wonders, let's see if they can do it again next season when they won't sneak up on anybody.
how did they sneak up on anyone this year?

They will continue to be fools gold, beat the average teams and get killed by the elite ones. Nobody talks about how bad the east has been that allowed us 12-5 records in that 3 year stretch, 4 guaranteed wins.
If we follow the same team building strategy it’s sad but true…

I know we need a lot of help but I feel like a few solid FA moves would go a long way…not even multiple blockbuster type moves just good FAs to plug our biggest holes to free us up in the draft so we don’t have to draft for need only.

Nobody took them serious until mid season. You look at their wins, they took advantage of their last place schedule.
In defense of your argument if Washington loses to Chicago I think the Bears would have been the last wild card and the Commanders might have fallen apart. Just crazy how one play changes the fortunes of two teams.

I agree, they can turn it around quickly if they decide to legitimately use fa
