-Washington is one of the hottest teams in football, winning four straight including beating the Bucs.

-They have become more ball controlled, time of possession type team that has helped protect the football and keep their defense fresh. Antonio Gibson had a field day against the Cowboy Defense last season running the football. Their offense reminds me of the Vikings with less talent at the WR position.

-Their passing attack since their bye has been less McLaurin more to the backs/TE's. Cowboy linebackers will be tested in coverage this week.

-OL is solid, but outside of their RG, not many any stars. Get them in obvious passing situations and the Cowboys DL will have success.

-Defense is missing their two elite edge rushers. Washington is blitzing more to create pressure, which should give the Cowboys passing offense some opportunities. Moving Dak outside the pocket of their strength makes sense.

-I watched the Raider game last week and saw their defense playing a lot of soft coverage, don't think that will be the strategy against the Cowboy receivers.

-Their secondary is solid, but it's no where the level of the Saints group.

-Cowboy Offense must avoid the dreaded quick three and out, as Washington will long to go on long, time consuming drives.

-Kellen Moore must be more creative in the ground game, motions, outside runs, WR screens, etc. They need to employ a Rams type of eye candy rushing attack as they are struggling upfront with cohesion.

-Interested to see if there will be changes up front. Would like to see both Connor Williams and Steele return to the starting lineup and use Collins/McGovern as extra blockers.

-If the Cowboys play their game, they are the better team, but if they continue to struggle on offense, they could very well lose this game by a wide margin.

Well written as per usual brotha. One thing I don’t see is losing by a large margin, that’s just not the MO of the Wash offense. We’d have to be shut out or dang near close to it for that to happen.

Move the ball. Try runs outside and up the gut and don’t abandon it. Keep them in check. They have a softer coverage. You can’t stack the line and have a soft coverage and not get eaten alive by our WR. This will come down to our O-Line and Dak and Moore. Moore should have designed roll outs. He has had another 10 day rest on the calf. If Moore don’t call it then Dak needs to audible. I think when Elliot is on the field and it’s a run play and they stack the line then Dak knows he is hurt and audibles out of the run play if called. If Dak uses his legs this week we will win big. Our Defense should play very well..

Excellent right up. WFT is a good team.
As much as mediots and fans want to hype this game it really does not mean that much. The Cowboys have to run the table to get the bye and pray that there are bunch of upsets with Arizona, Green Bay, and Tampa. If we are healthy the Cowboys are better then the Rams at home. They don’t run the football and have no speed receivers. I can guarantee one thing about the WFT they will lose at least two of the next three games. The NFL screwed them with the late season schedule. Philthy having a late biweek and gets to eat the carcass of the WFT is so unfair.

Saints were missing their top 2 DE's as well I believe, and we still could not run the ball. Seems they were in on Dak more than they should have been.
Moore must be better at this in his game plan and play calls.
Now it was Amari and CeeDee first game back, maybe some rust there. 3 games in 12 days, coaches out. All could have been an accumulative factor.

Although many say WFT is hot, winning 4 games on a row. But are they really that good.
Even our own fans criticized us in our win streak for beating lesser opponents. Well, why aren't they saying that about WFT.
They beat TB, we beat LAC, We beat the Panthers when they 3-0, Vikings with our back up QB.

WFT last 4 wins they could have easily lost.
They beat, LVR, Seattle, Carolina since they been down, after we beat them. So not really any power house teams the last 3.

But yet, we are to fear them?
Which I am concerned, but not fearing. My concerns are from the way we have played, not so much they are a powerhouse.

Our offense needs to get back on track, as well, the defense has issues also. Hidden by turnovers. But we get several defensive players back, 10 days rest.
I am looking forward to this game. See if this team is what we hope they are. Show us this team really has changed for the better. Because this is the type of game contenders win.

Fair enough, however, we could see a similar type of game like last week when they played the Raiders.

Good Point, if teams are going to continue to play press coverage against us, Dak has to start using his legs more, in runs, roll outs, etc.

Odds are two NFC East teams make the postseason, as the rest of the conference is awful.

Collins is better than Steele and should be rounding into pro-bowl form (in 2019 PFF rated Collins the #4 rated tackle in the NFL). Having said that and it has been discussed ad nauseum here at the Zone that Collins should be a beast at LG which could fix some problems our OL has had while allowing Steele back into the starting lineup. Williams is a backup caliber player at guard.

I agree with the rest of your points.

I worry about our run game ! If it is dead we just might be too.

One thing Cowboys defense can't allow Washington to have long drives, Cowboys need to win 3rd down battles on defense and get Washington offense off the field. Offensively clearly need to get things going and put up points and make Washington play from behind.

If our offense returns to form, Washington would struggle to hang with us, but they are playing their worst football right now.

I have a feeling Philadelphia will win 3/4 and get that final spot. I don’t think our last game against them will mean much to us. We win one more game we are in the playoffs at 9-8 I believe. Obviously we will probably win at least 10.

We will see which 2 of the 3 survive the divisional guantlet as the Giants are done

Tremendous and thanks. Great stuff.

I'd add that I'd expect a big effort from Washington at home given what's on the line.

In our last three losses, it was clear to me that the other team wanted it a little more than we did.

We desperately need to play from ahead for several reasons.

Seems premature to fire Judge but I sure could see it.
What has he done to keep his job. The Giants have more talent the WFT and the Eagles. Someone has to pay for this failure of a season.
