Let me first start off this thread by saying that i havent seen a game this exciting since Superbowl XXX, Atleast for me. And how ironic is was against these same Steelers. Both teams needing this game to improve their playoff hunt. For this time of the yr it gets no better. When Dallas' offense was sputtering the defense came up big. All 3 aspects of this team won this game today. This game feels good, and finally this team is putting in the effort and not relying on talent.

Romo is playing great football right now. Plain and simple making the right reads and finally i think he realizes that he cant win it all on his own. Not making that forced throw at the end of games, taking what the defense give him. And that opens everything else up.

IMO the biggest reason for the turnaround, Demarco Murray. The guy is a load, and he keeps the defense honest. He looks healthy and he has the fresh legs. He put it on the ground today, and thats a no-no. The offense just feeds off him. And you can tell the defense respects the running game when he's in there. The way a defense plays Dallas when Murray is in is like Day and Night from when he's not in there.

Dez Bryant has evolved into a VETERAN. Guy is running routes, good routes. He's selling his routes on running plays or plays he isnt involved in. And thats something he wasnt doing even earlier this yr. He was just jogging it out after the snap and sometimes would just stand around the LOS. Even with his bad finger the guy came through today. He isnt Romo's go-to-guy but he's not far behind. But he is clearly Dallas' #1.

Miles Austin, alot of people say they should get rid of him. I say why, he's not getting the looks well because the guy on the other side of the field is on fire. You know he wears 88. Thats not a bad thing. Austin still makes the catches and still runs a crossing pattern that rivals the best in the league. Runs a slant just as good. And will still go up and take a ball away from any defender in the league if need be. 1-2 punch is what Dallas has and it works.

Jason Witten is what makes everything work. Even when Murray is out of the lineup the guy is what gets the ball moving. We seen that time and time again throughout his career and especially this yr. HOFer

The OL played......They got the job done today. Im not going to say good because Tyron is a walking false start. But they're getting better. I still dont think theyre anywhere near the worst OL in the league as some of you would suggest. Those that say that im sure havent seen the Bears, Raiders, Cheifs, Cardinals, Chargers and some other teams play. Im not going to mention Free/Parnell today because honestly i didnt even pay attention. I was too busy enjoying this game because it was truely a great game to watch and enjoy. But i noticed Romo had time to throw and didnt get hit too much. Murray had 84 yrds on 14 carries which is damn good if you ask me 6 yrds a carry is fine by me.

The DL stepped it up a notch in the 4th quarter. What got into them IDC. They played damn good. The 3 first quarters eh. I agree with most who say Ryans 3 man rush is not the business. Ben's 2 big plays were against that 3 man rush. But the good thing is he adjusted and brought some heat in the 4th. and it showed. Lissemore needs more reps plain and simple. And it was good to see Spears have his first sack in what seems since his rookie yr. I actually dont even know when his last sack was.

Where Ryan is coming up with all these Lbers who the heck knows. But they just keep coming out and making plays. Sims gets hurt and Albright steps up. Guy has some real ability. And im not buying all that Spencer is only playing good because he wants a contract. Spencer is a beast right now and it's because Ryan is moving him around so much the defense doesnt know where he's coming from. The guy is the best OLB against the run in the NFL. Ill say it. And his passrush is coming along with the created mismatches Ryan is creating. All of you were asking where are all these designed blitzes Ryan was supposed to bring, well here they are. And the majority of you dismiss it and say its because Spencer wants money. Spencer should and probably will be a Cowboy next yr and its going to be a treat seeing him along with a healthy Lee, Carter, and Ware. Wow thats going to be something.

Secondary, the weak link as everybody can see is McCrae. He gets picked on constantly and even though he does and he gave up a TD today one thing is for sure. He's a sure tackler. The guy is piling up tackles lol. Yes Qbs are lighting him up but he's not giving up a big amount of big plays. and once the guy catches it McCrae usually makes the tackle. While thats nothing to brag about, in past yr Dallas had Cbs and S' who were giving up the catches and a whole lot of yrds after. Today we saw what Carr can do if Ryan would allow him to play man and press. The guy reads the QB very good. With some starter quality safety play this is going to be a very good defense on a consistent basis. Jenkins filled in pretty good for Mo he gave up a TD but that was a perfect play called by the Steelers. Jenkins is making himself some money now that he's healthy. Too bad Dallas wont be matching it. Id love to see Carr, Mo, Sandrick and Jenkins work. Sterlin is a pleasant suprise and will make losing Jenkins this offseason less painful.

I enjoyed today and hope for some more of the same the next two weeks. Then hopefully into the playoffs.

I would say the O line is about 20-22nd in the NFL. Today was their best game this season. But it is still much below average.

Against the Steelers OLBers, it's good to see we only gave up one sack and that sack was to an ILBer.

Gotta give some credit to Timmons. He played great for the Steelers last night.
