Thoughts before the game

1) I am suprised the dislike Saints fans have for the Cowboys. You would think they would be a little more civil considering how many EX's are on the team. Irony is most Cowboy fans are rooting for them except this week of course.

2) I read a post with one fan saying they own Texas stadium because they have won the last 4 They don't realize how Cowboy fans get when the Boys are winning. I have spoke to several ticket people and fans are not giving up their seats. Even Brees mentioned how hard tickets are to come by. That means there will be a whole lotta blue and very little gold. Cowboy fans have done a great job representing even in away games. I saw so many Cowboys fans in NY it was exciting. When Gramatica made the FG you could of swore from the cheers it was a home game.

3) I am not a believer in the Saints yet because of the competition they have played but they have a tough schedule coming up. This game will tell us a lot about them since it is on a big stage.

4) I have a ton of confidence in our Offense and have no doubt we will have our way with the Saints D. The Defense however is bipolar. The worst thing we could do is play them like we played Eli. I hope to see some aggression out there and hopefully Brees is throwing with hands in his face.

5) I think the Saints will try and spread us out to open the running game up. I actually like the Cowboys in the nickel because we seem to make more plays out of it. It allows us to get A Glenn, Ratliff, and Hatcher on the field and those guys are playmakers.

If the defense shows up we win easily considering the injuries the Saints have.

I think we will have a tough out because of the injuries and the home crowd. We will need bush to fill in the void on the passing game, and we need smith to play to pressure romo the way the giants did.

I agree with these. Almost sad though that the old, dirt-cheap vet CB is the biggest playmaker over a top 5 draft pick and a super-high priced FA CB.

Then Ratliff seems to make more plays as a 7th round draft pick in limited playing time than a first round draft pick and a 4th round draft pick that should've been a first round draft pick.

Hatcher is the second best passrusher we have IMO. He seems to really get into the backfield and get some pressure on the QB.

I'm not sure if our starters at those positions are setting the stage for these guys to come in and have success and these guys wouldn't have as much success in every-down roles or if these backups are just flat out playing better than their counterparts right now.

Nope my comments were directed at the saints message boards. As I said before this is going to show you a lot about your team. If you win it will be huge.

I would feel so much better with Glenn starting over Henry. Teams put their fast guy on Henry and he gets torched and it is always on 3rd and long.

I am just as confused about our defense and the players. I remember BP saying the guys just need to get used to the defense. Well I think after this year they will be. I hope Zimmer walks and someone with a 3-4 background comes in and BP cuts him loose. I have seen player comments that they feel the defense is too conservative and I agree.

Is it actually GROZ or BP holding Zim back?

This game is more HYPE then anything. We will beat them by 2 TD's or more. The Saints are a good "feel good" story but they really aren't that good. I don't think they've beaten a team with a winning record yet this season...
