An excellent post as usual, I feel pretty much the same way.
I do think they somehow seem to reset after a game like this and I for one will be surprised if they don't win Monday.
Big Mike delegates more than coaches, much like Jimmy did. I just don't think Mike has the power to make changes like Jimmy did. I would, just for once, love to see him call the offensive plays for a game. I think we are wasting a good portion of his talents. I do know the team plays hard for him and always to seem to bounce back.
I have been so hot and cold on Dak over the years that I just run tepid now. I'm no longer surprised whether he's lights out or terrible. He is what he's ever gonna be, but that's good enough behind a good balanced offense.
I do believe we are finally at a position of "wasting years". Like you stated, our core is very good now. Each year we fail, that core ages and we have to continually draft well to stay relevent.
