Was he worth the move up, or do we stay pat at #14 and draft DeCastro and keep our #2 pick ?

Considering that Decastro has been stinking the joint up in Pittsburgh, I think I'll stick with Claiborne.

DeCastro hasn't been any good and I'm pretty sure he's been injured also.

I'm glad he was not hurt and was able to return.

Do you know how difficult it is to adjust to the NFL as a corner?

Claiborne will be fine. He's just a rookie. Wait until he gets more experience.

He's playing well for a rookie CB... I think he'll be the best CB on this team by the end of the year.

I have no problem with Mo.

I wouldn't have had any problem with staying at 14 and getting O-Line either.

But that's got nothing to do with Mo. I don't understand the people who are up and down on a player on a week to week basis. That's just stupid.

no it was a stupid move, said it at the time, this team isn't one or two players away, nothing against Claiborne but this team is more like ten players away....should of moved down, took Decastro, Konz in the second round and a pass rusher/defensive end with the extra pick moving down from the first pick......

and before decastro got hurt all the reports were that he was stinking up the join in pitt. people seriously need to get over this guy. Claiborne is awesome, get over it!

LOL, you're right. He hasn't played a snap for them.

I like Claiborne, I think he's gonna be good.

When teams actually start throwing his way, he'll get some INTs

You almost never hear Mo's name during the game which for a CB is not a bad thing. He has been solid and is going to improve.

He does need to get stronger for sure.

lol 1 year doesn't determine whether a pick is good or bad... From what I have seen, he is handling his own out there on the field with the exception of getting lost on the Hester play, he got pushed today on the TD given up so I can't pin that on him.

it's not whether he is playing well or not, but we have Jenkins and Scandrick and didn't need to spend a 1 and 2 on Claiborne. We could of played crappy zone defense with a less player and still kept our 1 and 2.

That's the problem with this organization, all flash!

Stinking the joint up?

While on IR?

Do just a tiny bit of research next time, baddie.

Jenkins is gone after this season and no one was quite sure how his shoulder was responding anyways, so that point isn't valid.. You do plan your draft around the future and not for 1 season you know?

Did the Cowboys need a good young corner? Yes. Do I think Claiborne is that guy? Yes. Was this team in "one player away mode" when they picked him? No. Did they have any business making that trade? No. Are they one player away now? No. That second rounder could have been used on any number of holes that they have now.
