A number of years ago I read an article which talked about teams in the league with the most #1 draft choices on their squad. This means they drafted these guys in the 1st. Not Free Agent. At that time the Ravens had more #1 draft picks than any other team.

They won the Super Bowl that year.

I'm not saying Cleveland will win it all. But this should be no surprise with the talent they have been drafting. So spitting out this was Cleveland doesn't mean what it did three years ago. or two years ago.

Zeke needs to cover the ball. His first few years he did that, You weren't going to rip the ball away. Time for Zeke to redouble his efforts in protecting the rock.

Just my opinion but I think Cleveland was focusing on Gallup. He seemed to not have a productive game. If that is the case, what dopes that say about this player.

Dak's pick is not significant to me. reminded me of the pick on Russell Wilson that gifted Brady a Super Bowl. Doesn't make it easier, but there is just too much on what is right about Dak and his passing to focus on down 11 with less than a minute and a half.

If we want to point at something, the reverse to Beckham Jr. was a killer. But the kick off before that left them on the 50 was horrendous. Not well thought out. That is on Mac.

I am not giving up yet on this season, but this next off season better be about defense. Run defense. Pass defense.

And something for the OL.

Leaving Knight alone for the wrecking crew of Miles Garrett is bad coaching.

So, after the first sack fumble, why was Zach not facing this guy and they make arrangements for the guard?

The team you are looking at and the horrific games they have had fall on both lines. Get the QB off his spot and the DB's get better. Actually stop the other teams front four and this team will look much better.

I am displeased, but I refuse to throw a tantrum.

And...

At this point Dallas is still tied for first place.

LOL at that last sentence. This team stinks. Even if they win a crappy division they’ll get bounced immediately unless the defense has a total change of trajectory.

Knight hung in there and did OK. They also chipped more after the 1st quarter. It was Steele who was completely overmatched early on.

I am at a loss for words and even thoughts right now.
I am to the point that no matter what anyone posts, no matter how negative, they are correct. And if positive, well they are nuts.

I can't even hardly read through all the threads and posts right now. As it is pointless. This team sucks. I mean I rather watch the 1988, 3-13 and the 1989, 1-15 teams.

Just pathetic no matter how you spin it. After 4 games, overall I have seen nothing that I like. I thought I did, but I was wrong.

I don't understand why this is an important matter for Cowboy fans.

I get that "goal one" is always to win the division but whoever wins the NFC East is going to lose badly in the playoffs. All winning the NFC East in 2020 does is puts bigger distance between us and an impact defensive player in the draft.

I'm not suggesting tanking. I just don't understand why fans are content with this low benchmark.

Here’s a neat stat. If the cowboys defense played with 12 players all game I still think they lose.

2007 Giants is the reason. They made everyone think an average team can get hot and win it all. It’s not true...the Giants played in a great division that year and had an all-time defense.

You have a lot of patience my friend. Me not so much, but I'm sure in a couple of days, I'll calm down and see the bright side of things.

I remember Jerry constantly referencing this team a few years back. They are the exception, not even close to the rule.

And like you said, they were a much better team than this current Cowboys team, especially on defense.

If they had a top pick, do you actually thing they would make good use of it?

Actually the Giants may beat the Rams, it is a close game, so could be a 3 way tie, unless the Eagles win, then they are in 1st.

Also got a lot of guys back late in the season. If they had them all year, they don't have just an average record for the year.

Zeke's fumble and Jaylon face mask were the two plays that killed us. What the hell was Jaylon doing? It's first and 20 and they're about to get 2 yards.
