You guys think he'll last till the end of the 2nd rd? I'd love to pair him up with Byron. With the evolving passing league I'd rather have 2 coverage safeties. They can both tackle well enough.

I like him but that's a luxury. We need a corner in the first two rounds.

It should also be noted he wasn't a Safety until his Junior year. Starting CB as a freshman and sophomore. Moved to Safety after Alabama lost starters to graduation. It's not set in stone that he's a Safety, but he really needed to be able to run and test at CB to be considered. Eyeballin' it, he looks to have easy 4.4 speed with quickness to play CB.

It's an absurdly strong class for Safety assuming the premier guys come out. I think he's more a mid-2nd. There's no danger of him missing camp so I don't think he drops much. I haven't heard what his rehab schedule is or if he'll be able to workout before the draft, but Alabama likely has workout numbers.

Would love for Eddie Jackson to become a Cowboy but feel like Cowboys have much bigger needs in other positions. LB DE CB to name a few. Would be great if Jackson fell into our laps on a BPA scenario though.

Next Safety Dallas needs to make a priority is Ronnie Harrison in the 2018 draft class. Kid has the size and skill set to play FS on Sundays and you guys will hear more about him going into his Junior year..

I want us to go after the BPA unless they are at RB or QB as we are set there. So, if he’s the BPA in any part of the draft, I’m all for drafting him. However, I suspect we’ll be more into trying to develop Frazier. He’s basically a Barry Church clone, but far more explosive as an athlete. It really depends on how well Byron is at directing the defensive backfield. I think he’s likely very good at it so far as Wilcox has improved dramatically, Church is getting INT’s and Byron has had a nice season himself. The problem with Saban players is that they are so good that he usually doesn’t do anything fancy and if you insert them into a complex defense, that may give them fits.

If he falls into our lap in the 2nd round then hard to pass on him. I think hes a top 40 talent.
