Thoughts on Geoff Swaim

Swaim did well with his opportunity today, that's all he can do.

No, but Stephen's job is to replace those three guys with good players. He didn't do that.

You understand that their are finite resources every offseason in order to do so?

I'm not saying every personnel decision has been great (far from it), but its not easy to replace QB1, WR1, TE1, LB1, SS1, FS1, OG1, WR2, TE2, CB1, CB2 in a very short period of time.

I was listening to the game on the radio when Swaim made a play. The announcers joked that Swaim is unstoppable!

He is getting better but he will always be a backup TE. He is ok in that role, but we really need to upgrade this position next year.

Listening to part of the game on the radio was painful. Dak to Swaim, Dak to Hurns, Dak to Gallup.... I was thinking to myself, just a few years ago it was Romo to Witten, Romo to Dez, etc. Thank you Stephen Jones.
change is inevitable

I'd still like to see them try to do something with Rico other than "go stand in the end zone and we'll throw you a jump ball while you're being smothered"

Played better than we could really hope for against the Lions. TE is a very important position in this offense and it's caused us problems in 3 out of 4 games so far.

Solid TE2 but he's too slow to be a difference maker.
