I'm kinda glad he's falling apart now. If he would've played well all season I think he would've given him a bad contract next season. I'd rather cut bait with all the 30+ year old guys.

It's clearly the injury, but it's really irrelevant the cause of his play. He sucks right now. He's old too and he clearly doesn't make or break a teams defense as is evidenced by our years of blowing big games, despite 19 sack seasons. We need nasty, young talent up front that punishes the offense. And Ware's salary is a big problem that stands in the way.

Ware always reminded me of a guy like Richard Dent. Great player, but that D had nasty guys on the line like McMichael and Hampton. We could use some guys like that.

Yeah, he had that thing a few games ago, where he couldn't lift his arm. People dismissed it as a stinger, but it was a pinched nerve. Different things. Missed a game because of it IIRC.

That explains his total drop off. Man, this defense can't buy any luck.

mailing it in? cmon man, you're better than that. i'm surprised nobody mentioned the injury he sustained a few weeks back to his neck/shoulder. his play has leveled off since then.

That's been pretty much the issue for him. He couldn't even lift his arm at one point. It only makes sense for him to not be as effective as when he was healthy.

At least when he is out there, it gives the other spare tires a chance to make a play.

The 2014 draft will consist of heavy DT help and maybe another DE pass rusher.

that is a big reason why you dont pay them and reward them with bloated contracts
luckily for us this happened to hatcher this year, there were many people on this board who wanted to 'reward' him with a big contract despite common sense dictating otherwise
