1. I'd hate to be an owner wanting to sell his NFL franchise...a guy would have to think long and hard before taking on a franchise under the current circumstances and uncertainty regarding the future.
2. I could care less if there's anything going on with football before August, but if they screw around with the NFL draft, I'm really going to be angry, and there's going to be a lot of money lost...it's one thing to know you are drafting guys and having no idea what you're going to have to pay them, but no draft? That's not really possible, is it?
3. If I were a college player waiting on this year's draft, I'd be loving this and the explanation that a judge could send everyone back to work and that the league would be forced to work under the same situation as the final year, no cap, etc...for guys waiting to be drafted, that has to be music to their ears.
4. I'm basically over it, and like most labor deals, the players may want more, but they aren't really fighting for anything they really believe in with all their hearts...players will crack, will give in...owners will win, just a matter of time. Labor has to really have something fundamental to their beliefs and fair practices to withstand something like this.
