This is probably a long shot, and I don't know if it would fit, but I was wondering about the possibility of them moving Miller into the H-back, FB position. He's a good blocker, and if they aren't sold on any of the other FB prospects, then maybe they look to put him there. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. Yes, he did fumble one, but still caught 3-4 passes last night. He's not afraid to be physical. He's good on special teams.
I know at this point, the majority of his blocking duties (perhaps all) have been in pass protection, so I don't know how he'd be on the run at the point of attack. Could he find the right guy to block, and then block him effectively? Is he big enough, or is he just too light to play that position? Would he be a better option than any of the other FB's they have right now, or better than Phillips would be? Would it allow them to keep a 4th RB, or perhaps another player at another position?
Just wondering. Interested in others' thoughts/opinions.
