However, for the last 2 years, everyone says we have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL because our guys are big. However, they don't seem that skilled or quick. Flozell looked like he got beat on nearly every play because he lacked quickness. How can we blame Romo when he was getting blindsided on nearly every play because our guys were too fat to react in time? I'm probably wrong so let me have it
Flo - It's time to look at replacing him. The guy has clearly seen his best days and the consistent false starts always seem to happen at the most inopportune times.
Kozier/Proctor - Pat McQuistan? Are you any good? We need a healthy Kozier and, more importantly, someone else not named Proctor backing him up. I would actually prefer to see Montrae Holland challenge for the startin spot if he's still around come training camp.
Gurode - How did you make the Pro Bowl? You've got to be kidding me. This guy's IQ isn't very high. At the Center position, you have got to be one of the smartest guys on the field and a great multitasker. Gurode consistently falls short IMO.
Davis - I like Davis but he can't do it all. He, IMO, was our most consistent Olineman this year. Perhaps the move to Left Tackle is still a possibility. It's the only posssibility that gives us a realistic chance of replacing Flo anytime soon. But then who steps into the RG spot if Davis moves?
Columbo - I love this guy's fire and am glad he was resigned. Hopefully he has a healthier year next year and, more importantly to me, Doug Free begins to step his game up and challenge those above him on the depth chart to step theirs up as well.
This group has clearly got to play better for the offense to get it done. I'm not sure Houck has lost his mojo or that perhaps he just needs another year to put it all together. I'm very disappointed in the work Houck has done with this group this year though...
