1) QB's... Drew had plenty of time and was picking the SF D apart. We scored on the first 3 drives very impressive! Romo had another good night and would of had a better night if the TE's pulled in a couple he put right on the money.

2) RB's...It's amazing what our running game looks like when the D is not stacking 8 men in the box. Run blocking looked good all night and I think we had 180 something yards for the night. JuJo and MB were great and work really well as our 1 2 punch. TT is so fast around the corners but his blocking needs work.

3) OL... McQ had a couple mental mistakes but him and Petitti looked good. Gurode owned all night he was a stud. Did you see him on that screen play along with Rivera?

4) WR's... TG is a beast out there and has some of the best catches I have ever seen. Rector had another great night you can bank on him making the team. Hurd kept up his steady play in the game.

5) Defense... 1st teamers continued to look dominant across the board. All you guys bashing Fergy need to watch this game he was a beast. Watkins turned in another solid performance. Burnett and Hatcher looked really good out there as well.

Romo also had another fumble. He reminds me of Hutchinson:eek:
Alright, I'm kidding about that one. I like Romo but he does need to hold on the ball.

I would like to see more sacks by our D. At times, Smith had a lot of time to find his receivers.

Did we have ANY 1st string defenders on the field when SF scored? I didn't see any. It's really great to see our starting D not giving up points.

1) offense looks good...imagine what it can be if everyone stays healthy and then we get Owens and Adams on the field

2) I'm not 100% sure on this, but I cant recall a single blitz by the 1st team defense all preseason...I can recall a couple of faked blitzes, but they seem to be holding all the blitz packages out...1st team defense still hasnt allowed a TD

3) Skyler Green isnt going to make the team, he just looked hopeless out there tonight...I doubt he even makes the PS too...wasted pick...Jamaica Rector is WAY better than Green and unlike Green, is a legit WR....Rector put on a show at WR tonight

4) Hatcher was really impressive tonight...had two sacks and almost had a 3rd, I think he also had the forced fumble on that RB (we didnt recover however)

5) Columbo nailed down the starting RT job I think...he looked pretty solid out there tonight and McQuistan played well at LT too...Gurode had alot of excellent blocks tonight and will definitely be the C fulltime...Kosier clearly played his best game too date as well

6) for the "Roy cant cover!!!" crowd...yeah, that was #31 blanketing the great Vernon Davis 20+ yds downfield and giving no chance for a ball to be completed...

7) I cant believe Alex Smith was the 1st overall pick of a draft...hell I cant believe he was even a 1st day pick...he looks like a more mobile, far less accurate Kerry Collins

8) unless Zimmer totally blows its, DeMarcus Ware is getting 15 sacks this yr

9) I really like our # 1 & #2 RB's

10) hopefully he will come on, but Anthony Fasano hasnt been very impressive in any of these preseason games...

and the 2nd teamers actually stopped their 1st teamers on the first possession

Yep and if Green would of let that punt go in for a touchback I doubt they score that TD.

The Saints and the 49ers are among the worst teams in football - in the bottom 5. Maybe the bottom 3.

A good team should be able to beat bad teams, so it is good that the Cowboys absolutely squashed two bad teams.

Most encouraging to me was that the OL was so effective tonight. Even if they were only playing a really bad team.

It'll be interesting to see how the Cowboys look against the better teams.

I think the Saints will be much improved this year with Drew Brees and Reggie Bush

Was able to watch the game on local station that carries the 49ers game. The announcers were saying that Cowboys totally dominated the game and I agree. They also said that Lawson looked good but I totally disagree with this. I thought that we totally neutralized him, As far as the rest here are my impressions:

1) QB's: Bledsoe was incredible. He had all day in picked apart the 49ers secondary. Romo to me was average. Some of his passes were behind the TE's and wide receivers. The int was a littl behind the TE that his hands and into the 49ers safety. I was not as impressed with as I was in the previous 2 games. Parcells appeared pissed that Romo called timeout with 2:48 remaining. The station turned to Parcells before commercial and you could read his lips "What the F--- are you doing calling timeout?"

2) RB's: Impressive. Both JJ and Mb were hitting the holes hard and JJ had nice run that was called back due to holding on Fasano. I think we ran for over 189 yards.

3) OL: Totally controlled the line of scrimmage. Colombo and McQ were excllent and so was Gourde. The announcers were saying that Parcells reporteed that his line has been playing fair. They made a statement tonight.

4)Defense: 1st team totally dominated the game. They have not given up a touchdown in 3 preseason games. The TD that 49ers scored was against the 2nd and 3rd teamers. 49ers had their first team offense out there.

The cowboys held big statistically edge. Time of possession was 38:00 to 21:00 and we had over 300 yards passing. 49ers had maybe a total of 200 yards. It was a very impressive showing from our team.

Keep in mind this is the preseason, and those horrible 49ers did beat a Bears team their first preseason game that was pretty good.

The biggest mistake people make is comparing a team's talent to last year. Teams look totally different from year to year. They can suck one year and be great the next. So its worthless to say that any of these teams are horrible, all we do know is that the Cowboys are beating them convincingly.

I'm pretty sure that the Saints and 49ers are going to be pretty bad this year. But if you have faith in them, you should go to Vegas and put some money on them - because if you turn out to be right, you'll get a great return on your wager.

Offensive line played much better all across the board, Polite also made a few good blocks. 1st team Defense has dominating with a Vanilla style all preseason, no blitzing at all. Curious if we keep with that for the regular season. Bledsoe was sharp.
