He got better as the season progressed. No reason to think he won’t have a full career.

Most cases are a one time thing. In rare cases it can be recurrent so if we hear of another flare up then get very worried. Otherwise he shouldn’t have to think about it again.

Agreed. Schlerth said he wasn't the same until his second year back. I think Tfred will return to form.

My buddies son had this same disease far worse than what Frederick had he was in the hospital for almost 7 months total he came out of it well took about 2 years for him to get back to full strength

From not being able to basically answer a phone call to being able to hold his own against defensive lineman is quite an accomplishment in such a short time span. Hopefully he will continue his improvement unless there is an unforeseen regression

Definitely wasn't himself this year; he wasn't a total bum but he wasn't in his usual Pro Bowl form either.

His father and I did a lot of research one of the things that kept coming up was eating undercooked chicken ? his son was doing the bodybuilding thing all the Muscle Milk etc etc and ate nothing but chicken bodybuilders believe that overcooked chicken loses its nutrients ? He always denied under cooking it but he wasn't the greatest cook to begin with, now doctors couldn't confirm that except to say that it has shown to be one of the causes?

And nfl strength is so much different
I expected him to struggle this year but he played well and got better as the year went on
A year off from working out is huge
He should be old Fred next year

I just looked up the chicken thing again and it says this can for this disease can happen from a digestive tract infection which certainly makes sense with undercooked chicken

I thought the Beard played well this year. Definitely got better as the season went along. I thin’ his long term prognosis is excellent. There is precedent with overcoming this condition in the league. Usually it is a 18-24 months. He is doing great.
