Thoughts on Will Johnson

Would you be happy or mad if we took him. The guy didn't run a 40 we don't really know how quick he is, has some injury issues. This seems like a Dallas pick, I'm not sure I'd be happy. Please give your thoughts

Diggs never ran a 40 and he has been just fine. Johnson is a good zone corner, but legitimate ball skills, where he struggles is locating the football when he back is turned to the qb.

I'm not a huge Will Johnson fan, I think he would be a better pick at 44 if he were to somehow last that long, which isnt happening. The one real positive of taking a Will Johnson is that hes a perfect Eberflus defense type. The flip side of that is I just wouldn't over value the CB position in an Eberflus defense. I'd overload on the front 7 before I started thinking about drafting CB early this year.

I don’t know about Johnson’s medicals or health status. I do know he’s very instinctual and makes plays on the ball. He’s excellent in zone coverage and would be a great fit for Eberflus’ defense. I don’t have concerns about his athleticism, only his health.

CB Is a need. IMO, Barron is BPA at 12.

I think he's another Patrick Surtain, a tall, "slow" corner who everyone overthought. But he could be another Caleb Farley.
