Thoughts on Willie Pile???

I have not watched him closely at all...was hoping to get thoughts about his play???

He appears to be playing all the time now, and since (knock on wood) we have not had to many deep passes....

Is he making the diiference playing centerfield (over Davis), in addition to solid corner play?

He is a HOKIE.......seriously he played very well at Va Tech.

He's been pretty invisible - I guess that's a good thing.

Biggest thing I noticed was him(Pile) tripping up Plaxico and preventing a td late in the game. Noticed Davis flying in on the goal line stand and bouncing off Jacobs(?) before Roy stripped him.

That is the one thing i've noticed sinced the second half of the Niners game it that Pile is playing with wide open field, whereas Davis is playing in red zone...he's a hitter. Maybe this is the best mix...seems to be working. Pile plays regular FS between the 20's and Davis in red zone....
