You could say that every week, but Lamb is always open
Agreed. im not saying he won’t be, but hopefully the team is prepared just in case. But it all goes back to the running game. If Dallas is able to rip off 4-6 yards against light boxes, it won’t matter.

As many have said, biggest opportunity for Dallas is itself. No huge penalties, don't need Steele as a turnstile, no missed tackles, Dak needs to come out sharp. They play like they can, the ONLY thing on GB that can give us fits is their run game.

Theyve got an ascending young QB who has shown an ability to complete a variety of off platform throws as well as nice run/mobility with his legs.
Stable of young pass catchers have speed to stretch the field and Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon have had success against us in the past.

Their defense is not so great though. Jaire Alexander is best secondary guy but he's questionable.
Rashan Gary off the edge could be a problem for Steele so backs/TEs may need to provide a chip block or three to help him. Preston Smith on the other side is good as well.

We need a fast 2 score lead start and then stay on 'em. Don't allow any early confidence to them by their run game or big play to their speedy WRs. STOP Aaron Jones.
Get home after Love and create turnovers to make them one dimensional as has been our victory calling card all season.

Get anything from the run game, huge plus. Believe this game is all about stopping their run. Believe we should score plenty of points, unless Steele has one of those games.

Single game elimination, where anything can happen, throw out the standings, it's win or go home!

Offense

-Packers biggest defensive strength is their pass rush. Gary/Preston Smith and Kenny Clark inside all will be difficult matchups. Give Steele some help
-Their two biggest weaknesses is defending the run and covering the TE up the seam. Would be a real good game to use 12 personnel.
-Alexander their best cover corner got hurt in practice yesterday, but he probably will be playing, expect him to matchup against Lamb. Lamb feasted on him in last year's matchup. Their other corner struggles with speed and quickness, which should be a good matchup for Cooks.

Defense

-#1 goal is all about stopping Aaron Jones and their rushing attack. Use a ton of motion and call many outside runs, both have given the Cowboys big problems in the past. I hope Quinn continues using Parsons off the ball against the run.
-Jordan Love struggles with facing man coverage. Take away the timing and make him go off script. He will run for 1st downs.
-A bunch of no name WR's, where they most talented guy in Watson may or may not play due to a hamstring. Reed is the key receiver to match up against.
-Have two good young, TE's in Kraft and Mustgrave.
-Their OL is very good in pass protection, it is going to be a challenge to generate pressure without the blitz

Special Teams

-There is an area in which the Cowboys should have the advantage. Cowboys are #1, where the Packers are middle of the "Pack"!

- We’ll likely count on Steele holding his own - not giving him help; ditto if we have to face Nick Bosa as well.

- We’re not a big blitz team, usually just one extra safety in certain spots and packages.
But this will be the biggest pass rush group J-Love will have faced (Parsons, Dlaw, Osa,
Armstrong Fowler/Wiliams.

- The big key will be detaining Aaron Jones – who I was really hoping the Cowboys would develop/scheme Pollard as such. Both run and pass.
Packers are simply a lesser team without Aaron Jones.

- GB doesn’t have anyone that can handle & hold Lamb, he is just good, coaches schemes and moves him around so well, and Dak always finds him so well. Just too much.
Even if Alexander were healthy –(ankle injury) .. it would not matter.

GB not only are a weak pass defense wise, but they are not stones vs the run, ..if we get up big in score lead – expect a steady dose of Pollard- Rico.

After this season, there is no telling what happens in these playoff games.
Dallas could win big or win a close one, or lose.

GB seems like a low powered team, but decent defense , pass rush, and they played consistent the past 4 weeks.
Nothing great but consistent and have some confidence after winning their last 3 or 4 games , so one of the hottest in wins of all the teams in.

They dont have any playoff experience though , dallas has a lot. That may be important, or maybe not.

I think GB struggles to put up more than 24 points, so Dallas should beat them, but it depends on can GB slow down or shut down
dallas and keep them from scoring more than 20.

Always liked their uniforms...but then again they were iconic back in my informative years.

Always felt like Lambeau was one of the more enjoyable stay-jums to visit...overall friendly competition atmosphere amongst fans...if some one goes over a railing its due to ice not some drunk azzwipe acting tough.

Go Cowboys!

I think the Cowboys are the better team by a decent margin. It’s not a huge gap, but it’s there. Additionally, considering the overall state of the league, this is likely their best shot at a title in decades. If they lose in the WC round, I don’t see how Jerry comes back from it. I mean, he’s not going anywhere, but who could take him seriously?

We're supposed to have far more noted talent OL with Zack, Tyron, Tyler but yet we have a far less
run game than the Packers OL and run game ..

.. plus Aaron is used as a receiver outta backfield , .but yet we don't do that with Pollard ?
We're wasting talent here thanks to these coaches.

Don’t make mistakes on defense, on third down, that’s the key to this game

Pray that Hankins is healthy...

Also, Gilmore has made a ton of plays vs the run this season...often in the middle of the filed after the runner has gashed the DL, LBs and Safeties...

Gilmore's shoulder could limit him in that area.. Hopefully they make the tackles before the runner gets to him, but they've been up and down vs run this season.

As much as I'd like to see a corner come up and tackle I remember the Sanders days I remember when diggs last year was protecting his hand and you know what I can live with the fact that we can simply have Gilmore do what he does best is coverage smack a ball down intercept the ball stay in tight coverage but if you can't make a tackle I can live with it I mean I'd rather him last the entire playoffs and not be able to tackle than be without him.. In this case it would be a true business decision for the Dallas Cowboys to tell him don't do anything rash we need him for the playoffs maybe on obvious rundowns we need to pull them out put the backup in and I wanna use them in obvious pass downs I know you can't always know when that's coming but we need Gilmore to cover dudes more than we need him to tackle well...

Let’s hope we don’t have another Mike Jenkins situation when he hurt his shoulder

They know how to utilize their personnel. Seen Jones runs more to the edge, but we keep running Pollard up the midde
