This isn't a cupcake game by any stretch, a real talented team that was the most impressive in week 1, no matter their opponent. Saints now run a wco offense under Klint Kubiak that Carr is familiar with during his Raider days and has many footprints of a 49er scheme that our defense really has struggled with. You can expect a lot of misdirection, outside zone running to keep the Cowboys Defense off-balanced.

Offense

-Just like last week, cannot allow Cameron Jordan to wreck the game. Another difficult matchup for Tyler Guyton this week.
-Saints are another team that are difficult to run against, they have a real good MLB in Davis.
-Veteran secondary group where Dak has to be careful not to turnover the football. However, Lattimore may not play, their best corner.
-Expect to see a similar scheme as what they just faced with the Browns, heavy blitzing with man coverage which Dak usually does well against, but OL communication is the key.

-Defense

-3 headed rushing attack: Kamara will beat you with speed on the edge, Williams is their power back and expect to see Hill get some carries as well.
-Very talented receivers, Olive is that excellent route runner, where Saheed is a legitimate deep threat. Keep in mind Carson's biggest issue in camp was his lack of deep speed.
-Carr has hurt our defense in the past with his deep throws, remember that Thanksgiving game where he got many defensive pi's.
-Their line is extremely young, especially at the Tackle position, this is where the Cowboys should attack.

Special Teams

-Cowboys certainly have the advantage at the kicking position as they will for most of the yr, but Saheed is a very capable returner that the Cowboys can't allow to flip field position or even score on a return.

I am trying hard to contain my excitement for Overshown.......the level of this kid's speed added with Parsons brings a dimension to the D like we have never seen before. Nightmares OCs will have once Zimm starts scheming both.

Just 1 game, but he looks like a star in the making and that Will backer we have been searching for years.

Lets see #13 in more games, then we can decide how he's going to be, but in game one absolutely great!!

Will NOT be a walk in the park, and if anyone thinks that they're wrong!! No game is a walk in the park in the NFL, knowing the cowboys we could lose at anytime to any team

I think the Saints may be surprised to see what an NFL team looks like. They haven’t faced one this season yet. I obviously have no love for the Cowboys, but it’s hard to not see them rolling this week.

Saints looked good last week, but against what?

Good points. Saints defensively are very similar to the Browns. Another good test for the Cowboys. Not gonna lie when the schedule came out I thought this was gonna be the classic trap game sandwich between the Browns/Ravens. Carr for some reason always plays on par with Dak when they go head to head. I expect a tight down to the wire game just like the previous Dak vs Carr matchups.

watchin Grudens yt channel, he had an episode with Carr and it seemed like he put in a lot of work this offseason.

Saints are kind of a mess but they always play us close, except that one game the defense just obliterated them

As they demonstrated against the Panthers, this Saints offense can put many points on the board. I want to point out that that was against the Panther's defense. How will they fair against the Cowboys? I believe our defense will do a far better job of shutting down the Saint"s offense.

.. It remains to be seen how much better are cowboys compared to the panthers. Dq's defense had problems against those schemes. It remains to be seen, how's Zimmer's tactics devulge.

They played the Panthers. Bryce Young's first pass of the season was an INT. It just got worse from there.

Rashid Shaheed is one of the fastest players in the NFL.

The Saints have been doing a pretty good rebuild. They have 9 active 1st round draft picks of their own. Their players are either very young or very old. They have 7 starters 31 years or older.

The Saints drafted a QB in both 2023 and 2024 and that is who backs up Carr. Their season is over if he gets hurt.

The Cowboys are going to destroy the Saints.

Yes the Panthers really are as bad as advertised.

Believe it or not the Panthers are an NFL team and they have a good defense which the Saints offense obliterated.

they are not an easy win.

their defense was top 15 last year and scoring defense was 8th. their offense was top 10...and they improved as the year went on. they are 5-1 in their last 6 games. they are going to come in confident and hungry.
