Thoughts, Pictures from game (Long)

first thought.......well that sucked.

having said that, i gotta tell you a bad day at Texas Stadium is still better
than ( fill in the blank with your favorite old saying ).

i hate that the Good Guys lost, especially to the skins, especially at Home.

as i sat in the parking lot after the game waiting for traffic to thin out i got
to thinking about all the time, effort and money the fans had put into
getting to the game.

i met people who flew to Texas from Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
i talked with folks from San Antonio and Nacogdoches who had gotten up
early and driven to the game.
i talked to people who had paid WAY more than face value for their tickets
and parking passes just so they could be there.
i am lucky enough to live in the area and go to most of the games without
having to go through what those folks do to get here.
i hope that even though we lost those people who spent all that money,
and drove all those miles enjoyed it as much as i always do.
its sports, so no matter if "your team" is better than "their team" on paper
things dont always play out that way. ( see USC vs Oregon State ).

so even though im pretty bummed out cuz of the loss, and my heart isnt
really into posting pictures of what right now is not a good memory i am
going to do it anyway because a whole lotta people put a whole lot into
seeing that game and maybe one of them will enjoy the sights.

as far as analysis...ehhh, we never seemed to get it going, Tony and TO
didnt seem to click , our defense stayed on the field too much, special
teams didnt do anything Special, and the coaching (game plan ) seemed a
bit underwhelming......pretty much a TEAM effort at losing.

as for the crowd at the game, i knew there was no way it would be as loud
as the eagles game. im not saying it was bad, just not as good, and the
team never really did much to keep the crowd into it either.

Really enjoyed the pictures. You could see the passion in those fans around the stadium. The kids wearing jerseys. Adults as well. Wish I could have been there.

The Cowboys are going to be okay. A loss like that is needed. We had chances to win that game. Just too little too late. Time to ratchet things up and prepare for the next game.

Thanks for posting the pics. Seeing all the fans enjoying themselves makes me want to reconsider going to the Dallas-Skins game in November. I already told a friend of mine not to get me tickets this year because I thought it would be too cold by then. Your pics have me salivating over the possibility of being there in person when we exact our retribution on those Washington Epidermis.
