Twitter: Three Cowboys legends together

We need Bob and Randy to plug up the middle of the defense NOW....they look fit enough to play. Both of them guys led by example, not rah rah guys. George played when we had a lot of crap right after the SB teams, too bad. BTW, found that George was a HS football coach/athletic director at John Paul II High School in Plano for 19 years and now he is just athletic director there. Teague, 51...RWhite, 69....BLilly, 82.....yep, them Legends.

Wouldn’t exactly consider George Teague a Cowboys legend, he only played 5 seasons with the team after the SB wins but we’ll all remember his hit on TO for defaming the star at mid field.

That’s what made him a legend. He showed more passion for the Star than anyone has in the past 25 years. He was also a damn good safety.

I'm guessing that's Randy White in the black shirt, Bob Lily in the blue, and Teague in the white. Funny they each wore the same colors two days in a row.

That alone makes him a legend in my book .......lol

I agree that definitely put him on the map, however it’s the only thing he’s remembered for. The Cowboys were on the way down when Teague arrived in Dallas and they were being disrespected. For me I consider a legend a player who made a huge impact on the team helping them win a lot of games. Randy White and Bob Lilly were true Cowboys legends.

I remember Teague’s play. He really helped offset the loss of Brock Marion to the Dolphins.

Teague was a good player but we were losing so many players in free agency that we were on a steady decline.

Teague was....fine. But he is definitely not in the same stratosphere as Mr. Cowboy and the Manster.

I saw Bob Lily in 2018 at the last Cowboys game I was at in person. He was about 20 feet ahead of me in line to get in and waited in line to get in like everyone else- no VIP treatment that I saw. I didn’t see anyone even recognize him even though he was a lot taller than most people. He was also a lot slimmer than his playing days and looked very healthy.
