#6-Wide Receiver Percy Howard who had a TD catch in the SB

#4-Clint Longley-The Thanksgiving Hero of 1976 who later Punched Roger Stabauch which led to his release

#3-Cornerback Larry Brown who caught the INT in the SB in 96

Brown doesnt really belong on that list...he was the starting CB on 3 super bowl champion teams...he was a pretty good player for us for a number of yrs...not great, but good

I thought Larry Brown had two interceptions in that game.

Larry Brown was far from a one shot wonder, as David said, starting CB on three World Championship teams. He always played well in big games (except 94 NFC Championship) and was a solid, if not spectacular CB.

Yeah, there's a difference between someone who had one big game and did nothing for the rest of his career, and someone who was a solid player who had a huge game once on a national stage.

True, I was thinking of Jason Garrett's game on Thanksgiving since they included Sucker Puncher's Thanksgiving game, but then Garrett was a quality backup..

Still trying to figure out how O'Donnell didn't see Larry in the SB.

He claimed the ball slipped.

Good thing too because our offense was really struggling that 2nd half.

Deion Sanders had a lot to do with that. On those plays, O'Donnell never looked to Deion's side of the field.

Great players have a way of altering game plans and everything that goes on around them on the field.

They mentioned that on NFL Top 10, how it was Deion was the main reason LB caught those INT's

He should have been #1 because he never caught a pass in the regular season in his career. He's a receiver with no official receiving stats.

He's probably talking about why you choose to list ONLY Cowboy players out of the 10 players...

Care to list the other 7...

Timmy Smith, RB back for the Skins was #2

If Larry Brown is indeed on some "one hit wonder" list, it's just the residual lingering of the usual anti-Cowboy "asterisk" crowd just waiting for the chance to pounce on any accomplishment.
I remember the very night after Dallas beat Pittsburgh's *** in that SB, the talking heads were just stumbling over themselves to give the ole' "Dallas didn't win this, Pittsburgh LOST it" drivel. And Browns two INT's were the "poster boy" for all the blowhards.

Where's Desmond Howard on that list? Guy never did squat his whole career except in the SB game for the Packers. Doug Williams? Trent Dilpher? Mark Rypien? Even Joe Namath...........you could make the case for even him being a "flash in the pan" more than some "long term" great! Like Ali, his big mouth and bravado counts for about 75% of whatever "legendary" athlete he is.

No, there's about 500 guys ahead of Larry Brown on ANY respectable lists of "one hit wonders"..............if there's even such a list worth repeating.
