Going into this three game roadtrip, how many in here would have accepted a 2 win,1 loss scenario? Be honest!

OK--I would....but, after last week....I expected 3-0 honestly....who did not?

I would have taken 2 out of 3, to be honest, but that was considering that the Cowboys would have actually defeated the Giants.

We have the chance to return that little favor in NY.

2-1 is a good road trip...But how many people on this site...thought the SKINS were just going to Roll-Over and Go away... where are they NOW..its not called a Rivalry for nutin..

Its amazing,,,But less NOT FORGET...the next Game AZ..the way the Cowboys DB's played..Linerat and Boldin and Fitzs could have a BIG day..

We haven't gone 2-1 on this road trip yet. We still have to beat Arizona. Boy do we ever need to beat Arizona.

Honestly, not me. I said it before the Panthers game. Once you beat the team that was supposed to be a loss as many are inferring, I say to you it is not ok to go out and lose to the team you are supposed to beat.

Typical Dallas team. They can not string wins together. Dallas has no consistency whatsoever.

BTW we have not beaten Arizona yet. Dallas has done nothing this year to make me think that is a lock. Should be yes, is it? Dont know.

I'm going to relate a tennis saying to this.... Yes tennis... I know. Let the laughing ensue.

But if you know about tennis, breaks of serve are big. They're games you're not supposed to win. My coach used to always tell me after a big break of serve... "It's not a break until you hold."

Last week we got a break of serve. Beat a team we weren't supposed to with a new starting QB. This week, we allowed ourselves to get broken right back, and failed to hold.

That said, it hurts, but it's not the end of the world... or the season.

I hope we do. If we go 3-3 in our division, then I'd be ecstatic.

Here's how I see us ending up:

@ Arizona - W - team comes back together
vs. Indianapolis - L - uh, it'd be great if we win this.
vs. Tampa Bay - W - Thanksgiving gift.
@ New York - W - time for some revenge.
vs. New Orleans - W - I'm thinking we win this game
*By now, we're 8-5, not too shabby, eh?*
@ Atlanta - L - chants come out, "Two in a row, or we don't go."
vs. Philadelphia - W - time for some more revenge.
vs. Detroit - W - we'd better win this game.

I think we can get out of this thing 10-6, and snatch a wild card. Probably a one and done season even if we do, though.

No it is certainly not the end of the season. What bothers me is the big picture. I am not trying to turn this into a bash BP thread, I can do that in some of the others. I do not blame him specifically for the loss eventhough it was a bonehead move to go for 2...anyway.

The big picture though is that since BP arrived we have no consistency. We can not string together wins. We continually make bonehead mistakes and shoot ourselves in the foot.

The problem is this team is "rebuilt" yet we are still a .500 team. Where and what do we do from here.

I will say though in fairness and keeping with my longtime theory that the QB is the most important position on the field. Fix that problem and eventually success will come. I think Dallas hopes for this season and beyond fall right into Romo's hands. Like I said in an earlier thread. Two games does not make a career, but Romo is off to one heck of a start. That is the only thing that gives me true hope for success right now.

This team has been rebuilt and the results are not what we all want, but don't you feel better about this team than you did about those Campo teams? Those teams lost because of a lack of talent and direction. I get the feeling this team has the talent, but the direction is still lacking. Maybe BP should step back and let his coaches coach. For example, designate someone as the offensive coordinator. Several teams have them, you know? Sometimes I wonder how can the players respect the assistant coaches when BP doesn't seem to.

I will admit i thought we would loose to carolina, but after we won it just makes this one hurt all the more.
