Simple premise. What are three things you want during the draft, and what are three things you dont

Want:
1: Trade back and get another pick or two.
2: Draft wisely- There are a lot of holes to fill.
3: A player that can start at all of these positions day one: WR, RB, LB, OL, CB.

Don't Want:
1: Don't trade up to get a guy in the first two rounds
2: An injured player that is going to sit for the half a season before he plays
3: A guy that is bad for the locker room- NO DRAMA

1. Matthew Golden
2. Quinshon Judkins
3. Alfred Collins

Don’t want:

1. Tet McMillan
2. Omarion Hampton (before pick #44)
3. Quinn Ewers

Wants:
- Jones family locked out of the war room.
- Scouts having the biggest stick in the room over the coaches.
- Speed and explosiveness added to this team.

Not Wants:
Reverse of above

Want:

1. Jeanty if he's there, otherwise a trade down to low teens to add a second round pick.
2. A STOUT DT. I'm tired of getting gashed every game.
3. Dawgs. I don't care what position, but I want guys who are gonna stomp on you every play.

Don't want:

1. A "Jerry Surprise". The pick where he outsmarts everyone and selects some middling player because he knows best.
2. A developmental TE. Seems like we have 4-5 that are all "just about starting quality".
3. Multiple trades down in the middle rounds just to get more late round picks. If anything, I would rather trade all the 6-7 rounds picks for fewer 3-5 round picks.

Just a solid draft. Not sure this is the draft or where we are picking to be a a plus draft. This team is far from contending. I think last years draft was also solid. Maybe better if Guyton can play. They probably need 2-3 more good drafts. Hopefully this year adds to this.

Wants: running back on first two days who is a 1000 yard back first year. I prefer a running back in round 2 because we are so deficient there.

A better option than mazi on the inside. This team can’t count on Mazi heading into camp. I had hoped they would have signed a guy in free agency for solid money. Oh well.

Culture setters. Tough guys. Guys who just are smart players who love football.

I would love playmakers too

We have some big holes and not much depth, so I could be possible with a trade down and a trade back up.

Remember, they only have to most likely beat out a 1 year vet on league minimum.

Plus DT, RB, and LB can platoon or rotate.

Draft a run stuffing DT
Get a CB in the first 3 rounds

Don't want
Hampton or Will Campbell at 12
Ewers or Milroe
One legged players they had a 1st round grade on if they were healthy

I want them to draft players they've done their homework on.

I want difference makers.

I want McClay to be in charge of the picks.

I don't want them to reach based on measurables.

I don't know want guys with poor character or questionable passion for the game.

I don't want them to bust on their 2nd rounder.

Want to get a top flight 1T very early
Want to get a high end RB, but preferably not in rd 1
Want to get another high quality LB or DE or hybrid

No CB in rd 1
No QB until the end of rd 5 at the very earliest
No on waiting to take a DT and then taking another 3T

emphasis on positional value

Don’t Want:
- Hampton at 12
- Reaching for need
- Sanders to be available at 12

I hope Jeanty doesn’t fall to 12 because the cowboys will take Golden over him and I’d be upset. I like Golden a lot but Jeanty is too good to pass up imo.

This makes me very nervous, with all the hype.

I wonder how many fans that want Jeanty are the same ones that said, never draft a RB in the 1st rounds. Any 3rd or 4th round RB can run behind a strong OL.

He's good for sure. But so are about 10 backs in this class. It's possible, if not probable, that he won't even end up being the best back in the class.

And you can get a good back in the 3rd round of this draft, I'd imagine. I almost like Hampton more than Jeanty. Maybe even Henderson. We'll see.

Anyway, it's all the casual fans talk about
