Three things you want happen during the draft, and three things you dont

He's good for sure. But so are about 10 backs in this class. It's possible, if not probable, that he won't even end up being the best back in the class.

And you can get a good back in the 3rd round of this draft, I'd imagine. I almost like Hampton more than Jeanty. Maybe even Henderson. We'll see.

Anyway, it's all the casual fans talk about
Exactly.
I am not sure what Jeanty blocking and receiving skills are.
But Henderson is an all around RB that can do all of that. I think Judkins is as well.
I don't know as much about Hampton though to know if he is as well.

Want:
- Drafting BPA with an early
emphasis on positional value

Don’t Want:
- Hampton at 12
- Reaching for need
- Sanders to be available at 12
Do you think the Cowboys would draft Sanders? Gawd, I hope not. He may be there. His stock is dropping like a rock.

Hampton is a well rounded back with speed, power and size. Can pass block.

Definitely an elite prototype.

I think he's a possible pick for Dallas, especially if they manage to find a trade partner.

Want:

1. A high-quality #2 WR
2. A monster run-stuffing DT
3. A dynamic, quality RB

Don't want:

1. Any day-1 or day-2 "projects" - We have three picks, we need three quality contributors on day 1.
2. Trading up in the first round
3. Skipping over good players because they did not meet our "metrics."

Don't want
WR in first 3 rounds. If running the ball is the direction, there's enough there already
RB in the first. Good backs can be had in the 2nd and 3rd
QB taken before day 3

Want
OL or DT on day 1 or day 2
RBs on day 2 and day 3
Trade back to get more day 2 and day 3 picks

Want -

Impact players on either side of the ball - “playmakers”

DT early

RB early

Don’t want -

Fliers taken on long term projects (early at least)

Overdrafting of some dude because a coach was “pounding the table for him”

Only drafting one RB in this ridiculously loaded class

3 Id like to see: Draft 2 run stopping DTs, a RB and a WR.
The strength of this draft and team weakness align very well with stopping the run defenders and runners of which the current position holders are back up level talent, if that.
3 I dont want to see:
Do not draft a TE, or OG or OC.
There are plenty to choose from already on the roster and are not scrubs.

what i want:
☆georgia de mykel williams at 12.
☆a rb within the first 3 rounds.
☆a notre dame fightin' irishman.
dont care if its ben morrison...xavier watts...jack kiser...rylie mills...riley leonard...mitch evans or howard cross.
just give me 1 irishman.

what i don't want:
☆passing on drafting a rb because they feel really good at how they addressed it in f/a.
☆stephen jones blinking lights.
☆ignoring higher graded def tackles and drafting one in the 7th to get ahead of the udfa shopping spree.

id take him...and not look back.

Yep I'm totally with you and even more so on using the DTs in your last sentence.
They've sucked so long with a lack of run stopping DTs.
They could easily come away with 2 impact run stoppers in this draft and change the whole complexion of the defense.

Want:
1) A top 100, 1T.
2) 2 RBs drafted.
3) An extra added top 100 pick.

Dont wants:
1) A Blue Plate special pick (2nd injured player).
2) Head- scratching reach.
3) Sit out the whole 4th round.

The one thing I absolutely dont want want is anybody drafted that doesnt love football.

The one thing I do want is players that hate losing.

12 may be rich. But he is really good. Could be Bijan and Gibbs all over again.

Hampton is fast for his size.
Doesn't have the creativity, make you miss, lateral agility, fluidity, cuts, receiving chops of Gibbs n Bijan. What OH is, is a Ram truck rolling downhill fast.
