I like how Garrett uses lots of different personnel, packages and looks. He mixes it up pretty nicely.

One formation that I think we might see run maybe 5 plays per game now is that three tight end look. I esp. like the idea of three tight ends with Austin and Felix as your vertical threats. You can do anything out of that formation...power running, max protect for a deep ball, screens....

And we can do a lot of damage with the intermediate passing game with our three tight ends. Phillips is pretty athletic too. We can even jumbo bunch the three tight ends together...and at the snap they are either a blocking convoy or a pass-receiving combination nightmare.

If Bennett can ever learn to run disciplines routes he can be a real handful. I'm glad he's healthy again.

But my other favorite formation is anything that gets Austin and Ogletree on the field at the same time.

I love the unbalanced line. When the RT (Free) lines up on the left side, good things happen.

Yup. Put the defense off balance.

I don't think we'll see as much of Cricket through the rest of the season.
Cowboys fullback Anderson practices

Dallas Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson returned to practice Thursday after missing the last two workouts with strep throat.

“Deon looks better,” coach Wade Phillips told reporters in Irving. “We’ll see how he does in practice. If he practices well he should be able to play. I was worried he’d be sick and not be able to play.”

The Cowboys are off today for Christmas. They travel to Washington on Saturday.

Because of a strep throat???

strep can be dangerous at times, and VERY contagious.
