There is significant buzz suggesting the Cowboys want to exit this draft with one of the top six defenders. I believe there are three potential teams they may target for a trade.
The Cleveland option would require our 4th if you are going by chart valueThere is significant buzz suggesting the Cowboys want to exit this draft with one of the top six defenders. I believe there are three potential teams they may target for a trade.
1. Cleveland at Pick 6
If the Cowboys trade up to pick 6, their primary targets would be Bailey and Styles, provided they are still available. The trade parameters would involve swapping 6 & 39 for 12 & 20. If necessary, a 5th-round pick could be included to finalize the deal. I anticipate that Dallas will target a cornerback with pick 39, with names like Hood, Ponds, Johnson, Abney, and Scott being potential candidates.
2. Kansas City at Pick 9
Should the Cowboys target Kansas City, they would be looking at Bain and Downs, assuming both are available at pick 9. The trade parameters for this deal would be 9 & 29 for 12 & 20. If Bain is selected at pick 9, it’s likely Dallas will focus on cornerbacks at 29. However, if the Cowboys choose Downs at 9, they may shift their focus to an edge rusher such as Howell, Lawrence, or Mesidor, should he fall.
3. Miami at Pick 11
My preferred option would involve a trade with Miami. This move would need to occur prior to the draft due to medical considerations. The parameters would be 11 & 30, along with Jordyn Brooks, for 12, 20, and 152. This trade would likely position the Cowboys to secure the last of the top six defenders while maintaining the flexibility to trade up again if needed.
Think Arizona would require to much to move up.I would add Arizona and New Orleans.
Yes, but our GM was about to give up major capital for an edge rusher in Crosby.Think Arizona would require to much to move up.
I am a fan of any option that includes a proven player like Brooks. If going to 11 also allows us to secure Reese, Bailey, Styles, Downs, Delane or Bain, I'm all for that as well. Then, we can take one of the other positions we need at 30 and we've potentially secured three starters in the first round.3. Miami at Pick 11

Id do all three of these. I'm convinced trading up is likely the only way we get a blue chip level talent. There is significant buzz suggesting the Cowboys want to exit this draft with one of the top six defenders. I believe there are three potential teams they may target for a trade.

McCoy is more talented than Delane...I am a fan of any option that includes a proven player like Brooks. If Bain is off our board for whatever reason and we went with McCoy instead, I'd love coming away with something like McCoy, Brooks and Malachi Lawrence (not sure at this point if 30 is too high for him, though).
The ACL injury has to be a concern. Some players never recover 100% from it. Hopefully McCoy comes back but do we want to take the chance? We already have one cb recovering from it.McCoy is more talented than Delane...
- It's all about the interviews of which we have no info.
- If McCoy did well in the interviews, I would just turn in the card now.
- If players like Reese, Bailey, etc. fall to 12, then teams discovered something negative that didn't get published.
He rans a 4.38 forty and jumped 38 inches at his recent Pro Day.The ACL injury has to be a concern. Some players never recover 100% from it. Hopefully McCoy comes back but do we want to take the chance? We already have one cb recovering from it.
It’s not something you will see in a pro day with straight line speed or a vertical. I’m from Chicago and our own Derrick Rose was never the same. I understand they are all individual situations but for an organization who saw Michael Gallup never return to form and already have a CB in a similar situation, why take the chance. He rans a 4.38 forty and jumped 38 inches at his recent Pro Day.
- Players can't do that with a bad knee...
Bain seems like the only one other than McCoy who may be there because of concerns. McCoy's seems to be because of missing the year recovering from injury, and that's a legitimate concern. We've had players return from ACL surgery and not be the same afterward.McCoy is more talented than Delane...

You’re wrong. You need stars, blue chip prospects like Parsons who could bring a skill set. Not a bunch of osa odigizuasIm not a fan of trading up
We need real talent at several places not a star at 1
Reality is that Miami is dumping players and dont want an aging Brooks on the last year of his contract. Keep your powder dry and after the draft they will give him up for next years 3rd
