So with all the throw-backs uniforms being worn by teams on a fairly regular basis are we going to have to start calling teams by two names? The New York Jets/Titans, the Tennessee Titans/Oilers, the Seattle Seahawks/Neon Greens? Such shameless merchandising.

That said, anyone know if the Chiefs will be wearing Texans uniforms against us in two weeks? That would be interesting? :laugh2:

Yeah, actually they will be. And it definitely will be interesting to see.

And we're wearing ours against them. The two old Dallas teams... Pretty cool.

Now that I think about it, have we worn those throwbacks on the road before?

I think, and I could be wrong, the throwbacks are only for when the old AFL teams play each other. The exception is Seattle and those awful things they were wearing Sunday. The made Oregon's unis look good.

They sure gave the Dolphins' neon orange sherbet unis a run for their money. Somebody should have put a stop to that! What the hell were they thinking? :laugh2:

It's unfathomable that the person who created those uniforms would think they looked good, much less that another person/committee would actually agree and approve the design.

Dallas at Kansas City is an official "Legacy Game" for this year. I think it's the only one that involves an NFC team. This means we'll both be in our throwbacks and the refs will be in orange.

I'm hoping we'll actually see the white away version of our throwback unis.

I bet those would be pretty sharp with white as the dominant color.

Sorry, but we're wearing the standard, boring, navy blue jerseys, meaning both teams will be wearing "dark" that day.

I hope I'm alive long enough to see the day where we wear the blue jerseys in your sig as a throwback. Heck, even the 90s blue jerseys with the silver lettering would be nice.

Tired of only seeing the double star jersey as a throwback.

Atlanta wore their 1966 throwbacks against Carolina in week 2

Watching the replay of the NY Jets/Titans vs. Tennessee/Houston Titans/Oilers game and honestly I have no idea who the announcers are referring to when they are talking about the Titans, NY or Tennessee/Houston? Its confusing as heck, considering the current Titans are wearing Oilers jerseys and the other team are wearing Titans jerseys. JEESH! :lmao2:

I remember in they wore them in the 94(?)playoffs against Frisco at Candlesitck in that debacle of a loss.

"standard, boring" blue jerseys?

I'm sorry, but if our insanely awesome blue away jerseys are standard and boring, what does that make our standard/boring home whites?

(I should know better than to let bbgun answer a question)

I was referring to the boring, inauthentic, blue throwbacks, not the conventional road jerseys (which I kinda like). The only thing I "hate" are the green pants.
