Throw the &#$^%# Ball Downfield

IT is unfathomable to me how little we throw down field. I know the O-Line blocked like a bunch of school girls today. But knowing that, why not make an ajustment at halftime and put Bledsoe in the Shotgun and let him chuck it aways to loosen up the D? We did NOTHING to counter the Giant D at all. If Sean Payton is in charge of the play calling, he should be canned. It was awful.

Incase you haven't noticed, teams are playing two deep almost all the time cuz we can't run the ball.

We start throwing balls into that and the ints will pile up even more then they already are.

Part of being succesful is putting players in position to win. The play calling did not do that...

I agree. Even though your Tackles are struggling, you have got to take some shots down field. You cannot be scared the entire game.

These are things we are not doing that concerns me.

- We never motion at the line of scrimmage. This can give away what coverage a defense is calling, give a favorable matchup, and makes the defensive captain at least think about what he is going to call

- When the Giants lined up their 2 best pass rushers on one side, I dont understand why we just didnt roll the pocket. Bledsoe is a statue but I know he can get enough movement to make an pass to Witten or JJ on an out

- Rob Petitti went up against a Future hall of famer in his prime but alot of times didnt receive any help. At some point, you gotta ask Torrin Tucker to fly on his own and give Petitti some help

- Everytime Zimmer decided to blitz it was up the middle. Tiki Barber ate our blitz packages up all day by picking them up. That is one thing I dont like about Zimmer, very predictable and never toys around with different things to do to confuse the QB

There is some other stuff, but I just dont have that kind of time to mention all of them

Yep, and one thing that can be had from that formation is draw plays for Julius Jones.

I would rather take the shot downfield and let my WRs make some plays than to sit there on 3rd and 6 and throw it 4 yds and not make the 1st down. THat one pass that Bledsoe got picked on the 6 yard line was the best play I seen from us all game. (save the TD to Glenn). But at least we made the D go into coverage downfield.

I am sick of the BS mamby-pamby offense we are playing. It may be Parcells idea of keeping it close but we are now not winning the close games. Which means it turns into a loss.
