Throwback helmets on Thanksgiving

uniform does not win or lose games, it is the players wearing the uniform.

These will forever be the greatest throwbacks.

I like the throwbacks alot but would rather use something a bit more unique. What about our 1980 road Blues? Blue on Gray pants? Circa 1980 road blues? Not a fan of our current Blues.I like these here...maybe with the white helmet?

Buzzkill! Lol

Well, we didn't start out as a franchise tearing up the league.

Personal note. I was at the game in Kansas City where both teams wore their "throwbacks" in 2009. The Chiefs wore the original Texans uniforms--the ones with the outline of the state of Texas on them. That was the game where Miles Austin went nuts, and smoked the Chiefs for a long TD to win it in overtime.

It was a good week for me up here in Chiefs country.

I don't like the style of the original uniforms---the ones that we started moving towards in 1964 are just sharper and jazzier. I'm fine with wearing them once a year as a tribute to the team's history--while recognizing that it's primarily a marketing ploy by the league.

But those color rush uniforms? **hurl**

I noticed the Giants are wearing their white Color Rush uni's against us in the September MNF game, so this means we'll be wearing navy against NYG both games this season. Interesting. I don't think I've ever seen us play NY with them wearing their standard away whites, the red vs Dallas in navy will make for a much better contrast than the usual royal blue vs. royal blue when we play them. I would love to see Dallas wear navy a bit more in general, keep white at home for big games but mix it up more and wear navy 2-3 home games per year. They are also missing an opportunity to have white lids with the color rush uniform.
