What was really cool was that the Eagles then played Dallas one week later in the playoffs and got trounced again.

I remember that. All the Eagles fans were saying they basically let us win so as to not reveal what they were going to do the week after. Pretty sure that game had home field implications to make their claim that much more ridiculous.

I can't even imagine how I would feel if we somehow got to the NFC Championship game or Super Bowl this year. Please God!

I thought for sure we were going up to MN and beating old man Favre that year. Our o-line completely disappeared that game, and I'm surprised Romo didn't get really injured.

Couldn't you say that about any team in the league though? Seven years is an eternity in the NFL.
