back in the summer when the schedule was released i heard rumblings that the Cowboys and Chiefs would be wearing throwback unis for the game, because it is an old AFL NFL game or something like that? Can anyone confirm this or was i dreaming?

The whole throwback uni thing was VERY cool at first, seems to be losing my interest of late. Probably because it's been going on for too long and we've seen most of them..... coupled with the fact that you just know that the NFL is doing this for a couple of bucks. Eh.....whatever, carry on..

I think we have a pretty decent record in them. I think they're sharp too. But next year for our 50th anniversary, I think we should wear the 70s blue jerseys with the silver blue pants of that era. Wear them for two home games and two road games. That would be nice.

considering they used to be called the Dallas Texans and the Cowboys were an expansion team, how is that a kick in the teeth?

I do agree with this. Maybe 2 weeks a season, but nothing more than that. Don't complain though, Dallas has awesome throwbacks. Some of the other ones aren't so easy on the eyes.
