Stole this from a talking head's show this morning.

THUNDER AND SWEETNESS

All you guys wanting a featured back better get a grip on what is happening here. You have an Offensive Coordinator that uses his skill pieces to challenge the weaknesses of the opponent. You will see both backs alternating. Power and Grace.

And my opinion is we haven't seen it all. There will be plays they are both on the field at the same time. That idea should keep a few DC's up all night trying to figure out how to defend that.

My opinion is the divisiveness of this board, where you have to choose one or the other, or one side of the argument or the other, on several skill players causes fans to IGNORE what you are seeing.

This is a balanced football team when they have the ball. Now marry that with the Offensive Coordinator who can spot the soft spots, and put players in position to succeed.

One of the comments last night on the radio as I drove home from the game is the offense now has just too many weapons for a team to game plan. Dak connected with EIGHT players through the air last night. His two running backs had 28 carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns.

Time of Possession

Eagles: 25:02
Cowboys: 34:58

Divisions games are tough. Yet there are people here that want to downplay this statement game.

Dallas has two running backs who can play the inside/outside game. Brut strength up the middle and speed on the outside. They both catch the ball well.

There are at least four WR's who find openings and can catch the ball well.

And now Schultz is maturing into a real asset. That TD where he wound through the secondary was something you just don't see from a Dallas tight end. Sure handed and tough, and the kid can block. Just ask Bosa.

Sometimes I wonder if some of the fans here are happier when the team loses.

Maybe it's time to put down this Hatfield vs McCoy battle and enjoy this run. Dallas has a number of players coming back over the next four games on both sides of the ball. Especially the defense. And with the esprit de corps Quinn has built with the defenders, along with a rookie in Micah Parsons who is leading the way to 100% effort at all times, this defense is on an upward trajectory.

Dak mentioned the culture of the team and the brotherhood this 2021 team is exhibiting. This is the culture this team has been lacking for quite some time.

If you were around during any of the SB seasons, one thing you'd notice is the team seemed to get better as the year went along. With the troops coming back to the game, this team could very well solidify the defense and peak at the right time. I am damn excited about the possibilities of this season.

Maybe it's time to just sit back and enjoy this campaign.
