nope -
So we have to win 2 of 3 and the cardinals need to lose out correct? If Stanton is out for the year I can see them losing to Seattle and SF.

nope, cards finish 11-5 at worst, we lose 1 and end up 11-5, we lose tiebreaker

Here is a very real scenario:

1. Packers 12-4 or better
2. Eagles 11-5 or better
3. Seattle 11-5 or better
4. Falcons or Saints 7-9
5. Cardinals 11-5
6. Lions 11-5

7. Cowboys 11-5 (out of playoffs).

The only possible good thing tonight is Green Bay having to win their last game against Detroit to secure a 1 seed instead of it being a meaningless game.

So if we finish 11-5 our hope now is Detroit losing to either Minny or Chicago and then Green Bay.

Lots of possibilities.
Seattle losing 1 or 2 of last 3 and we are only tied with them and not a 3 way tie.
Detroit as you mentioned.
Arizona losing out.
Green Bay losing 2 of their last 3.

So ironic after three straight years of needing only 9-7 we could be out at 11-5.

For the record I see us finishing 11-5. We are not winning all 3

If we beat philly we do.

I know because you already implied that on your post.
I'm asking how about now. Today. Do we deserve it even though we got beat by a pathetic Washington team? .

In the 90s, we lost to several pathetic teams on our way to the SB.

That's why it sickens me to think about our loss to Washington. That should have never happened. And it looks like it is very possible that loss is going to prevent us from going to the playoffs.
