Thursday Night Football - Jags at Jets

I really want to see us go back to bringing Parsons up the middle some. A lot of teams are vulnerable to speed rushing up the middle, but we seem to mainly be content bringing him off the edge.
They used to move him around a lot more - now they just seem to plant him on the right side....why?

What always amazes me is how well other teams play the RPO. Our ends seem to want to crash all the way every time

I think part of that is scheme. Quinn has a good scheme, but it's built around creating pressure. When you are playing games up front to get that pressure, it leaves you vulnerable to some things. We tend to blame run problems on players, but sometimes the scheme is too blame.

That's not a knock against Quinn. Few teams can win every one-on-one battle, so you've got to mix it up to win by scheme as well. If the other team catches you running the wrong game for that play, it can cost you. Ideally, if we had a dominant DT, we could run less games up front.

Why don't these idiots up north have enclosed stadiums?
“Good ol’ football”

Some tough guy thing romanticizing the old days. I for one don’t like climate being a factor in games but also recognize how that can give different cities different advantages. Also different optics, domes can all start to look the same on the field.

Watching the young Trevor Lawrence breaking out and showing true franchise skills, wish we had one.
