Thursday night game thread

No idea why so many DBs even at this level play the ball without even turning your head. Free penalty for Seattle on a terrible throw.

Great play by Aaron Jones on scrub Austin Calitro.

I wonder if we actually bothered to run an isolation route with Elliott on Calitro earlier in the year if it would have worked.

Design is everything.

That was a good decision by Wilson...just couldn't get enough on it to lateral it backwards. He would have gotten tackled in bounds and time would have ran out

What was the point of that last play? At least try and throw a Hail Mary from there

Russell is similar to dak , misses a lot of throws, taking sacks holding ball too long, and good at running but doesnt run.
yet he still throws some very good passes too.

on the lateral pass, I thought russell was smarter than that.
He should know his momentum is going to carry the ball forward.
plus he missed the guy!

This is obviously the first time you have watched Wilson. Wilson is amazing and is very very accurate.

But yes, he does look like Dak tonight.

Why? Seattle beat us. They have zero shot at the NFC West. So they will be going for a wild card spot. They would have a head to head with us. Them losing benefits Dallas in that manner.

I think our only chance at the playoffs is through the NFC East. The Wild Card is going to be harder path this season for the Cowboys even if Seattle loses.

Russell Wilson has had a good career already but just imagine how great he could be with an offensive-minded HC like Payton, Reid, or McVay. I'm really surprised Pete Carroll hired Brian Schottenheimer to be the OC

Wow, they actually called a penalty against Green Bay despite Rodger's protests.
