Thursday night game thread

Aaron Rodgers is the Terrell Owens of QBs. His stats are hall of fame level, but not worth the headache and finger pointing and deflecting blame, in addition to being in his mid 30's and having the largest contract in NFL history. Nope don't want him. I'd rather lose with Dak than lose (in the playoffs) with Rodgers. He can't win another Super Bowl he's proved that.

So now he’s Terrell Owens type headcase?

It’s interestimg because if he truly were this
maniacal tyrant wouldnt there be a lot of former players that would speak out about that?

He’s an odd duck for sure but you completely over exaggerate his demeanor.

And the fact you’d prefer to lose with Dak than have Rodgers as our QB speaks volumes. LOL.

Your love of Aaron Rodgers has blinded you into thinking too highly of him. You're obviously a huge fan I'm not. Get over it.

You’ve hit all the typical homer posts.

“Go be a Packers fan”

“Your love of Player Y....... blah, blah, blah”

All you are missing now is to call me a Dak Prescott “hater” and you’ll have the trifecta of inane commentary.

I question the sanity of any football fan who thinks he’s an overrated QB and definitely the sanity of any Cowboys fan that would prefer Dak Prescott over him.

Here's the last one. You're insufferable and probably a miserable human being who can't just respect someone elses opinion and comes on a football forum to pick fights. I've seen you do it before. Ignored.

Ignored. LOL.

In case you can still read this, there should be zero respect for an opinion that states they’d rather have Dak Prescott over Aaron Rodgers.

That’s like saying you’d rather eat a four day old McDonald’s burger over a dry aged prime cut of beef.

Or that you’d rather have Wendell Smallwood over Ezekiel Elliott.

Or Chaz Green over Zach Martin. Or Jason Garrett over Bill Belicheck.

I hate the Packers but respect Rodgers. I'm surprised GB has only won one SB under his watch. He is a phenomenal QB.

I respect Dak, but Rodgers has proven to be one of the best QBs in the league ... Dak is young , no where near proven as Rodgers .

It is true for the regular season. Let’s face it he’s overrated in the playoffs too. He got lucky we had Brandon Carr and scandrick starting.

Their healthy roster for that game was 1/5th as good as ours. The difference? Aaron Rodgers putting on one of the best(maybe the best) QB performances we've seen.

He'll be underrated due to the ineptness of his FO and HC

Nick Foles has as many Super Bowl achievements as Aaron Rodgers LOL

That was a comment on espn game thread , but it is true. Aside from the one early SB win he fails every year in the playoffs.
Not saying it is his fault, McCarthy is to blame also.
Some are saying it is time for a new HC.

They had a 4th and 2 and punted, tonight and fans said he should have went for it.

Dallas and GB have the same record now except for the tie issue, but if our record is dak's fault, isnt GB record Rodgers fault?
and how can he be so much better than dak, and both teams have the same record.

Quiet, the haters might see this and start crying again.

"Proved" does not mean what you think it means.

This is obviously the first time you have watched Wilson. Wilson is amazing and is very very accurate.

But yes, he does look like Dak tonight.
No I have watched Wilson from his first year, I dont get to see very many seattle games. but I have always been a fan of wilson.
he can pass good at times, but just like dak he can lay some eggs too.
They are both running qb's only ours isnt allowed to run lol.

In his early days wilsons running safely was a big part of the offense.
They always had the good defense so wilson didnt need to score a lot.

I didnt like seattle till wilson took over, and since dallas wasnt in playoffs, I rooted for Seattle in years past.

You mean he can have bad games and bad throws like any other QB? Did you watch Rogers last night? He was exactly the same. Missed plenty of throws.

the interview with wilson after the game was cracking me up.

it was basically "i will say 'making plays' at least 100 times in the next minute" on steroids.

I would like Dak to be similar to Russell, and help win us a SB. :D
Well Jazz he could, but the overall team needs to be better too.
Wilson had good wr, golden tate was one of them, and a good TE he had worked with these guys for 2-3 years, and he
had the legion of boom defense in its prime, lynch and good run game, and a better coaching staff ,when he won the SB.
They also played a weak Denver team in SB.

he didnt carry his team to SB he just did his part. and I think he motivated offense to never give up even when it looks
hopeless, and that has won them a bunch of games they might have otherwise lost.
he is usually a smart player, which is why I was surprised on the forward lateral play, he should know better than that.

But Dak hasnt had much time at all with his receivers and OL issues, and mainly coaching issues to deal with
and our defense is good this year, but not quite legion of boom level yet.

I can't tell if this is a serious question or not.

Scoring O:

GB - 13th
DC - 24th

Scoring D:

GB - 17th
DC - 3rd

That kind of tells the story. You flip QBs and the Cowboys are probably one of the favorites in the NFC.

well sure , they all have bad throws and or bad games.
But if you play for cowboys and do that, then it is blown up way more than if it was another QB.

Russell has been around longer than dak, so he should be better than dak.
I think they all forget things they learned in the past,if no one reminds them. and that leads to bad throws or games.

Seriously. You put Rogers on the Cowboys and they're a SB contender despite Garrett.

No buddy, they are just human. And little things like bad routes, miscommunication, pressure, injury actually really happen.
