I don't see anything specific about Thursday's practice so I will put this here for now.

Observations from Oxnard: Watch Dak Prescott work with first-team offense, some crazy Mike Pope drills | SportsDay

Does anyone even practice anymore for this team?

We might as well just go to the preseason games.

Yep...no need....I was also surprised to see players signed. I didn't see that anywhere here or other sites.

Interesting to read about Garrett and Prescott bonding. I think JG might feel he needs to be more involved in developing the young QBs. Lord knows Wilson isn't good at it
Either that or they are dusting #17 off from 94.

That has been interesting to watch. They practice throwing balls at each others' faces.

Does anybody remember Garrett's interactions with other young QBs? This seems like a new thing for him, but maybe I just don't remember it.

Might be that Dak is comfortable around him - he's known for maturity and leadership. Not many rookies have those traits coming in. Makes it easier to interact with older people.

I'm sure Jason sees something of himself in the kid. Smart, probably looking at a career as a backup. A guy who can help the starter and the other guys with his smarts

Who brought along Romo? Was it Sean Payton?

SP and David Lee are the ones Parcels credits. Say what you want about BP but he has an amazing eye for coaching talent.

Romo was already a starter when Garrett arrived. But clearly Romo and Garrett have a good relationship.

QB Coach Wilson is absent with a bum foot, so Garrett is attempting to get Dak get into the habit of becoming as accurate as possible. Inaccuracy was said to be one of Dak's weaknesses coming in. Anyhow, judging from the daily reports from camp, Showers has been the more impressive of the two. Perhaps the extra coaching in practice might help Dak to get groomed into better throwing habits. Anyhow, I hope so.
