Thus far, who is the Offensive MVP of the year for the Cowboys?

I get your point and I like Dak but CD has had to make some amazing catches
I mean that's a receivers job. Dak is still the QB.

It's the argument people have been making for AJ Brown. I just don't get it. A quarterback has way more responsibilities and are apart of the run game, receiving game and play calling. I could see if Lamb or any receiver was a dual threat of some sort. Maybe Christian McCaffery has an argument because he is a dual threat.

2020 Derrick Henry, RB (Tennessee Titans)
2021 Cooper Kupp, WR (Los Angeles Rams)
2022 Justin Jefferson, WR (Minnesota Vikings)

The AP has not voted the honor exclusively for quarterbacks. It will be interesting to see which player from the league who they will tab for the award this season.

EDIT: This hypothetical consideration was for Cowboys only. My bad.
Yeah but the NFL MVP is going to a RB or QB....and no RB right now is having that great of a year to even be considered.

I certainly concur with the Lamb comments. Can’t argue that. He’s the MVP on offense so far.

But let me add this…I know technically he’s a special teams player but Brandon Aubrey deserves some offensive love. I mean he’s money for three points once we cross the opponent’s 40. That’s quite a weapon. Think about last January when we entered the playoffs with a K who couldn’t even make an XP.

Having a reliable K in a league where most games are decided by a FG margin cannot be overlooked.

Of course it’s the quarterback. That’s the thing about MVP…you can’t say a receiver should be mvp because someone has to throw him the ball.
of course you can. that's like saying "can't say qb because someone has to catch the ball" there's a reason jefferson was getting mvp chatter or tyreek etc.

with that said though, it's dak.

Dak hands down , his legs keep Lamb alive, his arm has been surgical, his vision to find Lamb.
Lamb a close second

Maybe I am reading title and opening post wrong again. @NotForLong ? Is this thread considering who should be Dallas Cowboys Offensive MVP of the Year? Or is it a thread asking which Dallas Cowboys player will win NFL Offensive Player of the Year?

It wasn’t real chatter. There is no way Jefferson was winning MVP over Cousins…..or Tyreke over Tua.

Let’s pick someone else because these two don’t need another bargaining chip this off-season.

The guy I called a bed s**tter after the playoff loss to the 49ers is now my offensive MVP! Perhaps he's potty trained now and won't *hit the bed no more!!!

I remember when the clear choice was the rookie kicker.

1 - Lamb
2 - Dak as of late
3 - Martin/Tyler Smith
Not sure how you can put a caveate "as of late" worth Dak and not include with CeeDee...there is a direct correlation with their stats and when one had a big game so did the other...when one had a bad game so did the other.

if you say so man. wasn't no one talking about stafford as mvp or opoy when cooper kupp went nuts either.
See that’s different to me because if your quarterback is leading the league in turnovers and your receiver is having a record breaking year I can see the argument for it. Especially if it’s on the best team.

Coin flip between Dak and Lamb.

If you're saying Zack Martin, his legacy doesn't count. We're talking about this year, and he's not even in the conversation this year.
