Knowing we would host a playoff game a month ago, I bought flights on points from Southwest just in case I decided to go. I got them dirt cheap, about 11k points which is probably about 125 dollars. If I decide not to go, I cancel and get all my points back. I have flights to both Dallas and Tampa for the following week as well, JUST IN CASE.

So, I am texting friends back and forth and decide to go this weekend. I go online and ticket prices are cheaper than any regular season game all year. Its simple, the opponent isnt known yet, so no visiting fans are looking at tickets raising prices. I buy my tickets in section 418 row 14 for 150 each AFTER taxes, no fees. So Im pretty happy. Those seats would have been 225 5 weeks earlier.

10 minutes later that Niners finish off the rams and now its known they are coming to Dallas. Day is still not known yet though. 2 hours later, prices have doubled. I wake up this morning and prices have now TRIPLED. You are looking at 350 bucks for tickets in the 400s in the endzone. 400 plus for anything at goaline.

I fully expect a decent number of niner fans to be at this game. That bright red sticks out like a sore thumb. Im from Norcal... the crap talk will be hard and heavy all week. I am in Niner Land for sure.

I love the playoffs... all week long the anticipation will build.

Oh... some of our friends are flying in from Florida just to tailgate.. not even going inside.

I usually look once in a while at my old seats I had to see the prices. The sections around mine were up all year more than usual.
I will see what they are now for the playoffs in a bit.
My seats were $340 each, but I think last year prices were raised to $365.

Tickets in my old section, 313, 1st row. Going for 1225 per ticket, the same seats I had, 7 & 8. Seats 9 and 10 are listed at 1500 each.
Prices for any seat in that section range from 900 to 1500. So triple or a little above.

I only checked stub hub prices though.

it is apparently a white out... so its the Dez or Zeke jersey.

And trust me, the place will be LOUD.
A white out at AT&T?

As a Penn State alum, and attendee of almost every white out in Beaver Stadium...
