I don't think the Cowboys own the tie breaker over the Commanders do they?

They split the head to head, have the same Div. record but a worse Conf. record.

If that is true than we are on the outside looking in with the number 7 spot.

win-loss record in common games is the 3rd tiebreak isnt it?

we have to beat Pitt, and Philly I believe to hold the tiebreaker
That's okay, we're going 6-0 from here on out. :)

I believe the Falcons jumped us for the 6th playoff spot.

We're still behind them I think but essentially Atl, Dallas and the Skins are the top candidates for the WC. I think we go on a tear and go into the Giants game without a loss since the first game.

With checking the link Theo left, I believe conference record is the next tie breaker (after head to head). In that case, we're still 3rd in the NFC East.

When it is all said and done, we aren't going to have to worry about the tie breaker with the skins

We have a better Div. Record than the Falcons.

I just based it off what they were saying on the pre-game show

Its too early to worry about tie breakers.

But we need Green Bay and Tampa to finish second in their divisions with the same record as us because we have tie-breakers over them :laugh2:

Conference games are the fourth tiebreaker, behind head-to-head, division and common games.

I agree with this. The SF and Seattle games should be wins and then it comes down to that Pitt game. I watched Pitt today against SD and against Indy and the Giants. They have a very good defense but their offense is not very efficient. I see that game being very much like the Commander game tonight. Low scoring and close. Hopefully we come out on top. If we do then I think the playoffs are a shoo-in at 9-4 with 3 games left.

That was supposed to say "Without" not "With". My bad.

Yeah, forgot about division games.

and according to Adam, beat the Giants

or have the skins lose to the Giants and Eagles

as i understand it, someone posted, that if we beat the Commanders by 3 points, and if we end up in a tie with them and comes to head to head, we win, because we beat them by 3 points, but im not sure about that

dont quote me on that;
