Now with the big news, when would you want a tight end and who? I'm looking at troy fumagalli if he's there in the 4th.
Mike Gesicki. If they draft TEs.
Gesicki!
He's an over-sized WR.
Not really what Dallas has gone for at TE in the past, they have always valued blockers.
If Jason Witten hands in his jersey, we still have Geoff Swaim, Rico gathers and Blake Jarwin, who all have fans in the building.
If a great value shows up, go for it, but I'm fine adding a handful of undrafted free agents to the current group and seeing how it shakes out.
The Cowboys can look at current free agents and also have an eye on roster cuts during training camp.
He's absolutely an over-sized receiver, and the best receiver in the entire draft class. Play him where you want and keep the guys on you list above. He's the epitome of "Dak friendly".
We need some adept pass catchers so if he can run seams and get open bring him in. If he has some speed, all the better.
Linehan is probably devising a new type offense that is Dak friendly. Try Jailbreak passing game.
This is an easy oneFor the love of god, get Dallas Goedert. He's all purpose.

Thomas in the 3rd would be okay. Might end of being the most complete TE in the draft.I like Ian Thomas, may have to reach for one a bit early than they might be valued to ensure they get their guy.
Would of been nice if this info stayed under wraps for 1 more day.
If Witten retires, I think Swaim will see the bulk of the reps, but whoever they draft would find a role.Would this coaching staff play him?
They couldn't find a role for Gavin Escobar's receiving skills, and he was a 2nd round pick, because his blocking never developed. James Hanna became a blocker and had a role despite the fact he averaged a TD about as often as a complete solar eclipse.
Mike Gesicki might flourish as a mismatch TE you move around the formation, he's not an on the line Y.
