Just reminiscing a bit. Curry played in a ton of stuff, large and small roles, plus voice work as well. He was a cult favorite for The Rocky Horror Picture Show on the big screen and on the television mini-series It.

There was a role that I really enjoyed him playing that many either do not know or have forgotten. He played a music mogul executive during the second season of a late 80s organized television crime drama called WiseGuy. I was really interested in how well he could play this new bad guy following Ray Sharkey's just outstanding Sonny Steelgrave (See? I still remember the name.) from the show's first season.

I have forgotten the name of Curry's character but he lived up to the challenge in my opinion. Sure, he played himself with just a bit of dryness added in. He kept the Wiseguy episodic chain format going strong. I have always appreciated him for that because I loved that show.

Rest in peace, Timothy James Curry.

Yep. That role cemented him in as someone I was always happy to see in a movie.

I had no idea he was 80 years old. Of course, I never really thought about it either.

He want as popular as Tim or Dolly but Michael Wright was a legend in his win right. Great actor.
