Lost in the disaster of yesterday was the weekly love/hate thread for Tim Tebow.

At least I missed it.

But, in case your counting that 5 in a row and if not for a cowardly penalty in the game he took over against the Chargers, I think he would have pulled that game out as well.

Say what you want it's time to give a little credit where it's due.

I love it as well. The more the critics holler about Tebow the more I love it. :laugh2:

I thought they beat the chargers, are you referring to the first game they played them in week 5?

Me too. With every win he gets I just smile that much more cause i know that there are people out there losing their minds over the fact that he's part of a team winning games and he's contributing to those wins.

Yeah.

I will hand it to him, he had a good contribution yesterday. I only saw a couple of his passes, but he looks like hes making progress. Lets see if he can sustain it.

Denver is now in 1st place (tied) in the AFC West, and firmly in control if you ask me.

It would be awesome if they somehow won the Super Bowl.

Yesterday he actually looked good, too - he looked like he was looking to throw first, and using his legs to extend the play rather than freaking out.

If I'm Denver...I think I don't look QB for a while and just roll with it. The team loves him.

How good would Denver be right now if he'd played the whole year for them?

r u serious?

you want denver to win the SB?

forgot youre a cowboys fan in your man love?

Good for him. I like how the kid stays positive no matter what. And the team just seems to rise to the challenge. Ya know who must be eating crow? Jerrah for the comments he made about Tebow. Sure he's not Romo, but the kid has proven he could lead a team. Just a natural born leader.

I said it early in the season and I will say it again. That kid is fun to watch play football.

10 TD passes and 1 pick...not a bad line to go with those wins.
The kids passer rating is now above average at 87.9.

I do like that he always talks about how much he has to learn and improve (obvioulsy) while giving credit to the defense, oline and coaches.

Pretty wild: they are now in 1st place in that funky division.

In my view Tebow will never be a conventional QB. A guy who is a straight drop backs throwing the ball 25 to 30 times a game or a guy who is hitting over 60% of his passes. However I don't think Tebow has to be that kind of guy to have success. You have a QB who is built like a FB and is physical. If he can get his passing up to around 55% and continue to avoid making the big turnovers I think he and Denver can challenge down the road.

I think trying to make him into something he is not, will never work. But you can win if you’re willing to go outside the box instead of having a cookie cutter view of what a QB is
