you went out on a limb with this one. No QB for Jets? Griffen in the 1st?
Yes the Jets still have Boules as coach and they have invested in Hackenburg and their o-line was 29th in the NFL.

Griffin, someone is going to fall in love with his story and also his 4.3 speed. Rams like to switch up their safeties and LBs on schemes. Griffin would fit.

2 questions:

Why DE?

Why from UTSA?
Boys still need pass rushers and Charlton really could become a DT and be a very good one. Davenport is huge and 4.59 speed off the edge would be a good fit. Marinelli seems to favor tall D-linemen and think on passing downs having to face a 4 man front of Davenport,Charlton,Irving, and Lawrence. Not just good rushers they are tall and can tip passes, hinder the smaller QBs in the league........ Not sure if Boys take a shot on a WR in the 1st.

1-Browns- Saquon Barkley RB Penn State
reason-best player in the draft. fits a critical need get the QB with the 4th overall

2-Giants-Sam Darnold QB USC
reason-Darnold I believe pulls a Eli Manning move not wanting to play for the browns.Giants get their future

3-Colts-Quentin Nelson OG Notre Dame
reason-colts gave up a NFL worst 56 sacks and if they want Luck or Brissett to survive they need to invest in the o-line

4-Browns-Josh Allen QB Wyoming
reason-get a talented QB to build with. Having Barkley will help take the pressure off him on his rookie learning curve

5-Broncos-Vita Vea NT Washington....(Broncos land Kirk Cousins)
reason would have love to get Nelson, but settle for the d-line anchor fo the r next 10 years. Peko is long in the tooth and at the end of his career

6-Jets-Will Hernandez OG UTEP
reason-No QB is going to look good behind the 29th rated o-line.Build the o-line

7-Buccaneers-Bradley Chubb DE NC State
reason need pass rushers

8-Bears-Tremaine Edmunds OLB Virginia Tech
reason-Bears top sack leader last year Leonard Floyd had 4 sacks

9-Niners-Calvin Ridley WR Alabama
reason-more weapons for the franchise Garrapolo

10-Raiders-Leighton Vander Esch MLB Boise State
reason-Have a feeling he becomes the Raiders MLB

11-Dolphins-Josh Rosen QB UCLA
reason-Phins need to get a franchise QB. Rosen has a jerk attiude and with Phins coach liking Jay Cutler then he should love Rosen.

12-Bengals-Lamar Jackson QB Louisville
reason-Cincinnati is not even 2 hours drive from Louisville. Bring in fans and helps get away from Dalton who only can go so far as a starter.

13-Commanders-Minkah Fitzpatrick S Alabama
reason-Skins need a star and Fitzpatrick sliding to #13 would be ideal.

14-Packers-Josh Jackson CB Iowa
reason-Randall stays hurt and is struggling as a starter and better suited to be the nickel

15-Eagles-Derwin James S Florida State....(Trade Nic Foles to Cardinals for their 1st round)
reason Eagles get what they want for Foles and 1st round pick and get an enforcer in Derwin James they have not had since Brian Dawkins left

16-Ravens- DJ Chark WR LSU
reason-Mike Wallace and Jermey maclin are on the downside of their careers and Perriman never has lived up to being a high pick.

17-Chargers-Roquain Smith ILB Georgia
reason-Pullard and Perryman are midgets at the ILB spot and Smith is a terror who would be an upgrade

18-Seahawks-Denzel Ward CB Ohio State
reason-Seahawks splitting up the Legion of Boom and will need replacements

19-Cowboys-Marcus Davenport DE UTSA
reason-Boys still need pass rushers and Davenport with his size and speed(4.59) could become the new RDE vs Taco Charlton who runs a 4.77 could be switched to DT and with his speed and size be a stud DT.

20-Lions-Lorenzo Carter DE Georgia
reason-need help off the edge beside Ziggy Ansah.Carter with 4.4 speed who make Ziggy and Carter a nightmare for opposing QBs

21-Bills-Mason Rudolph QB Oklahoma State
reason-bills want to replace Tyrod Taylor which they tried with 5th round Nathan Peterman last season. This year they get their future franchise QB

22-Bills-Mike Gesicki TE Penn State
reason-Rudolp gets his security blanket and they're careers grow old together

23-Rams-Shaquille Griffen OLB Central Florida
reason someone is going to fall in love with griffin and his story and his 4.3 speed. Rams like to switch up their LBs and Safeties in schemes. Griffin would fit right in.

24-Panthers-Derrius Guice RB LSU
reason stewart is toast and a bellcow RB will be needed. guice will let McCaffery switch to WR fulltime

25-Titans-Harold Landry OLB Boston College
reason-Titans OLBs are both over 30 and anew infusion of youth is needed. Landry would be perfect

26-Falcons-Harrison Phillips DT Stanford
reason=Grady Jarrett is past his prime and a dominant DT and Phillips is strong as an ox and can rush the passer with 14 sacks

27-Saints-Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma
reason-Mayfield will slide because of height concerns. One team does not care about short QBs. Brees plays this season and Mayfield takesover in 2019

28-Steelers-Sony Michael RB Georgia

29-Jaguars-Mark Andrews TE Oklahoma

30-Vikings- Rashaan Evans MLB Alabama

31-Patriots-Arden Key DE LSU

32-Eagles-Brian O'Neill OG Pittsburgh

28-Steelers-Sony Michael RB Georgia
reason-Steelers might be getting tired of Leveon Bell's antics off the field and his whining about the franchise tag. Bring in Michael to play Alvin Kamara and compliment him and be his future replacement

29-Jaguars-Mark Andrews TE Oklahoma
reason-Jags need a TE who can get downfield and Andrews can

30-Vikings- Rashaan Evans MLB Alabama
reason Best player available. Lets the Vikes slide Kendricks to OLB and get a true MIKE man. Vikes will have possible the best LB corps with Barr, Evans, Kendricks as starters.

31-Patriots-Arden Key DE LSU
reason-Pats luck out and get Arden Key and make Belechik look like a genius again

32-Eagles-Brian O'Neill OG Pittsburgh
reason-Wisnewski did well at LOG but he is near the end of his career. O'Neill has a lot of promise and running the fastest of all the o-linemen at the combine with a 4.8 forty.

Don't really understand the reasoning behind Edmunds though that looks like his range. Edmunds can Blitz but he's not a pass rusher.

I think Edmunds best football is in front of him and he can only help their pass rush with Floyd on the other end.

Hackenburg has a good chance of being released.

Rags, yeah he can ,but they gave up a high 2nd and with Petty a 4th. I am not sure they want to go high for QB if the first 2 are gone. Rosen is a twig ,has injury issues including concussions and Rosen acts like Jeff George reincarnated.

Taco is not strong enough to work inside...at least, not yet. That's something he may add in the future, but in his second year I don't see it. If they add anyone to the line, it should be a 1-tech, but of course, as many of us already know, that is not something they like to devote draft resources to for whatever reason, despite last year providing plenty of examples as to why they should have one.

I asked why UTSA because there has been a trend over the last few years in where they like to take their first rounders; big name schools. Based on their visit list, it looks like they are looking for a receiver, however, for the life of me I really can't see why.

Sorry for errors in giving reasons for the picks .I was fighting the edit time limit

Davenport just lands there and Lorenzo Carter might not get much bigger and Landry would be better as a OLB. Davenport is there because he slides because he is small school and other teams might not want to risk it.
