TIMB2'S Cowboys Mock Draft 3-10-21

Its pointless to do it before the cap is released, just haven't done it yet.

Don't be so sensitive about it lol.
Well maybe you should call it a Big Board because you can't do it. See how that goes? Some people work hard just for guys like you take shots but don't have brass balls to take the negative crap back at you if you did one... sensitive ,how about you be a little more polite instead of a jackass.

I've done them before I don't mind getting criticized on them, but like I said, I think it's pointless to do without knowing what the cap is going to be.

You can't honestly tell me you put a lot of work into these with the number of them you do lol

Well I don't try to insult people like you do. Just call it your Big Board. How about you shove it where the sun don't shine?

Oh Future he is so informed,he knows everything. We should all listen to you. You are waiting for Cap Cuts? So your opinion doesn't mean squat till you grow a pair so we can shoot holes through your mock draft.

Just like a rain cloud, you came to my post to spread your misery. Nothing positive just the same negative crap.

FUTURE= DEBBIE DOWNER

What's next Future? You want to tell everyone Cowboys have no chance of winning a Super Bowl? Maybe you cheer on Death Counts for Cancer Patients at the hospital? Going to a Pro Acid Rain Rally later?

It seems it moot anyways, ooks like the club likes what it sees of their rehab since they restructured Collins, Smith and Martin.

Tyron Smith isn't healthy and since we just signed Dak we are going to have to cut some big fat contracts .

We just restructured Smith so you may want to change that.

I like Paye...just not at 10. I think he needs too much development as a pass rusher to be picked that high. Great athlete and he’s very good vs the run but I don’t see enough good tape of him as an edge rusher

Stokes would be great in the 2nd...we’ll see if he gets there after his workout #’s

I’m a fan of Wiggins. He looked like a star in the making after his sophomore year. ACL injury and then covid kinda derailed his draft stock. Hoping he falls more in the 4th round range but who really knows at this point.

Slayton is where you lose me, certainly not where you have him. With so many teams running a fast tempo spread offense he’s going to be a fish out of water more often than not. Especially in a 4-3 scheme. I think we need a more athletic/skilled 1 tech that doesn’t need to come off the field constantly.

No complaints about Brown in the 4th

And not familiar with the rest of the guys, will have to check them out

It's just one draft and not signing free agents to kill the cap and have to cut players the next few years over cap space.. Build through the draft.

Paye pushes Lawrence this year and takes over as the LDE starter next year.

Stokes starts and he is a very good man to man cover corner.

Wiggins starts and has good range.

Slayton starts become the immovable land mass we need at DT.

Tre Brown locks the nickel spot down

Campbell by year 2 becomes the Left Tackle

Eifler fights Bernard for the starting position.

Chambers becomes a 3rd down specialist

Mitchell is a sleeper. Big guy can run and could end up the starter by year 2..

Butler fast LB can become nickel LB in passing situations. Most likely special teams mainstay.

Continued on next post

Now Year 2 practice squad can phase out free agents besides the draft. We also will have compensation picks for the free agents we lost this year like Awuzie,Lewis,J.Thomas,March,Woods,etc. Also not signing any will get us extra picks is what I want. BUILD THROUGH THE DRAFT.

Connor Williams is a free agent and out the door. McGovern can take his spot at LG but he has competition with Knight,Brown, and Dobson

Lael Collins if he falters from health I have plenty of depth with Steele,Saltes,Alarcon, and Rion Smith so drafting high for a OT should not have to be top priority.

Looney can be expendable as either Biadiaz or McGovern could end up the starter.

All the negative stuff over Jaylen Smith seems somewhat overblown because the year before he was praised. Had to adjust to a different position . Now add Carson Taylor and Carter breathing down his neck with Butler.

I think the secondary is set

Ezekiel Elliott still has a good o line to run behind and give more time to Pollard and Dowdle to keep all of them fresh not just expect Elliott to carry the whole load.

Maybe we lose Gallup, so Wilson & Johnson can compete for the open spot with another high drafted WR most likely.

Paye,Gregory,Lawrence and anything Chambers contributes will just improve the team.

Gallimore gets single coverage and can become the DT pass rusher. Slayton is the anchor,Woods provided depth and Hill becomes a 3rd down DT situational pass rusher.

Dotson & McClain- Sapp compete with Brown, Candy, & Rashad Robinson at depth

Webb competes at safety

Estimate we end up 4 compensation picks for 2022's Draft makes 11 draft picks.
