1st ROUND

1- Texans- Bryce Young QB Alabama

Reason- QB Davis Mills has struggled as the signal caller with the Texans .Only winning 1 game all season. Bryce Young is more mobile and has a good arm and plays like a younger version of Russell Wilson in his prime.

2- Bears- Will Anderson OLB Alabama

Reason- The Bears have lost both Khalil Mack & Robert Quinn and the pass rush left with them. Anderson can generate some heat off the edge to build the Bears defense to respectable again.

3- Seahawks- Myles Murphy OLB Clemson

Reason- Bruce Irvin is a shell of his former self as starter. The Seahawks once the feared Legion of Boom now are past history. Rebuild the defense with fast pass rusher Murphy is a good start.

4- Lions- Jalen Carter DT Georgia

Reason- Jalen Carter paired with Aiden Hutchinson has the makings of a great Defensive Front. Would give other teams fits dealing with them.

5- Cardinals- Peter Skoronski OG Northwestern

Reason- Skoronski is like a young Zack Martin. Cardinals could play him at OT or OG . I prefer they draft him to be a OG where I think he could become an ALL- PRO.

6- Colts- CJ. Stroud QB Ohio State

Reason- Colts need to find a young franchise QB,. Stop with these end of their career QBs. Stroud might go 1st overall if his Pro Day goes well and leap frog Bryce Young for the top position . Colts will be happy with Stroud as the future if still on the board.

7- Falcons- Christian Gonzalez CB Oregon

Reason- The corners have been a weak link all season. Gonzalez has the talent to become a shutdown corner.

8- Panthers- Tuli Tuipulotu DT USC

Reason- Tuipulotu can dominate at times. Will help the pass rush being paired with Burns,Brown, and Gross- Matos on the D- Line

9- Eagles- Andre Carter DE Army

Reason- Brandon Graham is nearing 35, Derek Barnett is a bum. Need to find a edge rusher opposite Josh Sweat. Carter in 2021 led the nation in sacks with 15.5.

10- Raiders- Jalin Hyatt WR Tennessee

Reason- Raiders really lack a homerun threat. Raiders love speed and Hyatt is a rocket.

11- Texans- Quentin Johnston WR TCU

Reason- Texans need weapons in the air besides aging Brandin Cooks. Johnston would be a popular pick being from nearby TCU.

12- Steelers- Kelee Ringo CB Georgia

Reason- Steelers corners are very average. Ringo has the talent to easily become the # 1 CB in the Steel City as a Day 1 starter.

13- Packers- Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame

Reason- Rodgers would love to have a big target like Mayer over the middle. Rodgers has been complaining for better talent around him. Mayer is rated the best TE in this draft.

14- Jaguars- Jordan Addison WR USC

Reason- Marvin Jones will be 33 next season. The other WR Zay Jones is really not special unless he is playing against Kelvin Joseph. Addison could help the Jags WR woes.

15-Jets- Paris Johnson OT Ohio State

Reason- Jets OTs are both over 30. Duane Brown the LT is in his mid 30s. Enter Paris Johnson a talented big man to become the new LT.

16- Seahawks- Joey Porter CB Penn State

Reason- Seahawks have Michael Jackson starting at Corner. Not " Hee- Hee" the one the Cowboys had a few years ago that was so- so.

17- Patriots- Isaiah Foskey DE Notre Dame

Reason- Patriots could use an elite pass rusher to help their defense. Foskey has currently 19.5 sacks the last 2 seasons

18- Lions-Devon Witherspoon CB Illinois

Reason- The corner spot opposite Jeff Okudah is a revolving door. Witherspoon would lock it down.

19- Buccaneers- Will Levis QB Kentucky

Reason- Tom Brady is showing signs of being Mortal afterall with Father Time starting to catch him. Levis has talent to become a solid NFL QB.

20- Titans- Sedrick Van Pran C Georgia

Reason- Titans have several holes and really need to get back to basics with a dominating O- Line for bruising back Derrick Henry. Van Pran could play Center or Guard

21- Commanders- Anthony Richardson QB Florida

Reason- Commanders have been searching for a franchise QB and a Star to bring some excitement to this team. Richardson has great talent but still needs development. Given proper coaching Richardson could be a stud .

22- Chargers-Mazi Smith NT Michigan

Reason- Chargers have trouble stopping the run. Mazi Smith is a Freak of Nature 335 lbs running 4.8 forty's.

23- Dolphins- FORFEIT

24- Giants- Cam Smith CB South Carolina

Reason- Giants have veteran corners, but none are special to be a #1 CB. Cam Smith has loads of talent and confidence to be a shutdown CB.

25- Ravens- Siaki Ika NT Baylor

Reason- Ravens love huge players in the trenches and Ika is a load at 350 lbs. Comparisons to former Raven Haloti Ngata could make him a popular pick.

26- Broncos- Broderick Jones OT Georgia

Reason- Left Tackle. Garrett Bolles will be 32 next season and is becoming more injury prone as he is currently on IR. Broncos need to protect Russell Wilson's backside after they paid him the big contract. B. Jones can play OT or OG .Jones has been battle tested in the rugged SEC.

27- Bengals- Emmanuel Forbes CB Mississippi State

Reason- Eli Apple starts and that should be a sign you need a better starting corner. Forbes is a gambling ballhawk who can become a solid NFL starter.

28- Cowboys- Brian Branch CB Alabama

Reason- Anthony Brown is a Free Agent and also overcoming an injury. Our depth at CB besides Daron Bland has been awful. Branch is smart & physical and can become the our 2nd CB and let Bland stay as the Nickel .

29- Chiefs- Bijan Robinson RB Texas

Reason- Mahomes needs help with the running game to keep defenses from just focusing on the pass. Robinson rated the best RB in this draft.

30- Vikings- Tanner McKee QB Stanford

Reason- Yeah a reach, but teams are desperate for a potential Franchise QB. McKee needs to sit and learn about a year and that is about right to takeover for Kurt Cousins who will be 35 next year . McKee has the talent to become a good NFL QB.

31- Bills- Jahmyr Gibbs RB Alabama

Reason-Bills need a better running back who can keep teams from focusing on just the Bills passing game.

32- Eagles- Darnell Washington TE Georgia

Reason- With most of the top tier CBs already drafted, Eagles grab Washington to become another weapon in their offense. Washington is huge and athletic. He is a redzone threat and a nightmare to cover with his size.

26- Broncos- Broderick Jones OT Georgia

Reason- Left Tackle. Garrett Bolles will be 32 next season and is becoming more injury prone as he is currently on IR. Broncos need to protect Russell Wilson's backside after they paid him the big contract. B. Jones can play OT or OG .Jones has been battle tested in the rugged SEC.

used to get irritated watching this mock drafts select a cornerback for Dallas now I get it and I have no problem with cornerback I would’ve preferred others but there you go. My preference a few weeks ago was O cCyrus Torrance

Thanks Tim I know these posts take time and effort, Saves us from hunting for these player's highlights.

DaRon Bland hasn't been awful. He has 5 interceptions and been better than OK in coverage.
And I'm not passing up Bijan Robinson for Branch.

Branch looks to be a very good DB and I like how he'd fit with the young Cowboys secondary...Branch is physical tackler, excellent blitzer, and good coverage guy.

I see Branch as more of a Slot CB then Boundary/Field CB, but I have no doubt he can play anywhere in the secondary.

I said besides Daron Bland, he is the only backup corner we can trust.

I wish we could get one of those DT's if they fell. Our corners could play better if the QB's were throwing to save their own lives.

I know past players don't define the current ones, but I'm still weary of drafting QB's from super teams.

Tua looked like he could of broken the mold, but injuries may doom him. Mac Jones doesn't look all that. Maybe Young is the one to break that curse but I think these guys have the luxury of legit NFL receivers and OL vs regular college teams then go to ****** NFL teams and are expected to perform right away with crap talent around them.

Seems like Lawrence may be coming into his own now, but something about Alabama just makes me 2nd guess their QBs
